Man, what a day! Oliena, you wild beast! I woke up thinking it’d be chill, ya know? Just another day in this beautiful little town. But nah, Oliena had other plans. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. Best place ever! The barista, Marco, he’s a legend. He knows my order by heart. I’m like, “Yo, Marco, gimme that cappuccino with a sprinkle of magic.” He laughs, but seriously, his coffee is like liquid gold. So, I’m sippin’ my drink, feeling all fancy, when BOOM! A pigeon swoops down and almost takes my head off. Like, chill, dude! I’m not your target practice! I swear, those birds in Oliena are on another level. After that, I decided to stroll down to the Su Gologone spring. It’s gorgeous, man! The water is so clear, you can see the fish doing their thing. I’m just standing there, soaking it all in, when I spot this couple taking selfies. They’re all lovey-dovey, and I’m like, “Get a room!” But then I remember I’m single, and it kinda stings. Ugh, why’s love gotta be so complicated? Then, I hit up the market on Via Garibaldi. It’s packed! Oliena’s market is the real deal. Fresh fruits, veggies, and the cheese! Oh man, the cheese! I’m talking about that pecorino that makes your taste buds dance. I grab a chunk and munch on it while dodging people. But then, outta nowhere, this old dude starts yelling at a vendor. I mean, full-on shouting! Turns out, he wanted his olives, but they were sold out. I get it, man. Olives are life! But chill, it’s just olives! After that drama, I needed a breather. So, I headed to the Monte Corrasi trail. The view from up there? Breathtaking! I’m standing on the edge, feeling like a king. But then, I trip over a rock. Classic me, right? I almost face-planted into the bushes. While I’m up there, I start thinking about life. Like, why do we stress so much? Oliena’s got this vibe that makes you wanna just... relax. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, asking if I wanna hit the bar later. I’m like, “Dude, I just tripped over a rock. Gimme a sec!” So, I head back down, and guess what? I run into this street performer on Via Vittorio Emanuele. He’s playing the accordion, and it’s actually kinda good. I toss him a couple of coins, and he gives me a wink. I’m like, “Yeah, I’m a big spender!” Finally, I hit the bar. It’s packed, and the energy is wild. I grab a beer and start chatting with some locals. They’re hilarious! We’re swapping stories, and I’m laughing so hard I almost spill my drink. But then, outta nowhere, someone spills their drink all over me. I’m soaked! I’m like, “Really? This is how we’re doing it?” But instead of getting mad, I just laugh. It’s Oliena, man! You gotta roll with the punches. As the night goes on, I’m feeling all the feels. Happy, angry, surprised—this day had it all. I stumble home, thinking about how crazy life is. Oliena, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
