Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Ospedaletto-Euganeo, right? The sun was shining, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had to get ready for my gig. You know, the whole Maiko thing—makeup, kimono, the works. I was feeling cute, but then I realized I forgot my favorite hairpin. Ugh! It was like forgetting your phone, ya know? So, I dashed down Via Roma, dodging old ladies and their shopping bags. They move like they own the place, I swear. Then, I hit up the local café on Via Garibaldi. Best cappuccino ever! But the barista? Total grump. I asked for extra foam, and he just rolled his eyes. Like, dude, it’s not that serious. I mean, I’m just trying to live my best life here! After that, I had to rush to the park—Parco dei Colli Euganei. It’s beautiful, but today? It was packed! Families everywhere, kids screaming, dogs running wild. I was like, “Can I just get a moment of peace?” But nooo, I had to perform. So, I finally got to the stage, and guess what? My fan club showed up! Okay, it was just my friends, but still! They were cheering, and I felt like a rockstar. But then, mid-performance, my kimono got caught on something. I mean, come on! I was trying to look graceful, and I ended up looking like a tangled mess. And then, outta nowhere, it started to rain. Like, seriously? I’m in a delicate outfit, and the sky decides to pour? I was soaked, and my makeup was running. I looked like a sad raccoon. But hey, the crowd loved it! They thought it was part of the show. I guess I’m just that good, huh? After the performance, I was starving. I hit up this little trattoria on Via Mazzini. The pasta? To die for! But the waiter? He was super slow. I mean, I could’ve cooked it myself in the time it took him to bring my food. I was hangry, and you don’t wanna see me when I’m hangry. Finally, I got my food, and it was worth the wait. I devoured it like I hadn’t eaten in days. And then, just when I thought the day couldn’t get crazier, I bumped into an old friend from high school. We hadn’t seen each other in ages! We ended up chatting for hours, reminiscing about the good ol’ days. But then, I realized I had to get home. I was exhausted, and my feet were killing me. I walked back through the streets of Ospedaletto-Euganeo, feeling every cobblestone. I passed by the old church on Piazza della Libertà, and it hit me—this place is my home. So, yeah, today was a rollercoaster. I laughed, I cried, I almost lost my mind. But that’s life, right? Ospedaletto-Euganeo, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
