Man, what a day! I swear, Palmi is wild. I’m a stuntman, right? So, I’m used to crazy. But today? Pffft, it was next level. Started off chillin’ at the beach. You know, the Lungomare? That place is a vibe. Sun’s out, waves crashin’, and I’m thinkin’ “Today’s gonna be easy.” Ha! Yeah, right. So, I’m sittin’ there, sippin’ my granita, when I get a call. My buddy Marco, the crazy one, says he’s got a gig for me. “Dude, we need you at the old Teatro Comunale!” he says. I’m like, “What’s the rush?” But you know how it is. You can’t say no to Marco. I hop on my scooter, zoomin’ through Via Roma. Man, the traffic is nuts! Cars everywhere, people walkin’ like they own the road. I almost hit a cat. Seriously, that little furball just stared me down. Like, “You wanna go, bro?” Finally, I get to the theater. It’s this old, beautiful building, right? But it’s kinda falling apart. I walk in, and it’s chaos. There’s a film crew, lights, cameras, and a bunch of extras runnin’ around. I’m thinkin’, “What did I get myself into?” Marco pulls me aside. “We need you to jump off the balcony!” he says. I’m like, “What?!” But hey, I’ve done crazier stuff. So, I’m like, “Let’s do it!” I climb up to the balcony. The view is insane! You can see the whole coast, the Tyrrhenian Sea glistening. But then I look down. It’s a long way down. My heart’s racin’. I’m thinkin’, “What if I mess this up?” But I jump. And it’s like time slows down. I’m flyin’, wind in my hair, and then—BAM! I hit the mat. It hurts, but I’m alive! The crew goes wild. I’m feelin’ like a rockstar. But then, outta nowhere, the fire alarm goes off. Seriously? In the middle of my moment? Everyone’s freakin’ out, runnin’ around. I’m just standin’ there, like, “What now?” We all spill out onto Via Garibaldi. It’s chaos. Fire trucks, sirens blarin’. I’m tryin’ to catch my breath, and this old lady walks by. She looks at me and says, “You’re lucky you didn’t burn up!” I laugh, but inside, I’m like, “Lady, you have no idea.” After the fire drama, we finally get back inside. Turns out it was a false alarm. Phew! But now everyone’s on edge. I’m thinkin’, “Can we just finish this shoot?” So, we do a few more takes. I’m jumpin’, rollin’, and acting like a fool. But I’m havin’ a blast. The crew’s cool, and we’re all laughin’. Then, as the sun sets, we wrap up. I’m exhausted but happy. I stroll back to the beach, the sky painted orange and pink. I grab another granita, and life feels good again. But wait! I see that cat again. It’s just chillin’ on the sand, lookin’ at me like, “You survived, huh?” I laugh and say, “Yeah, I’m tougher than I look.” So, that was my day in Palmi. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
