Man, what a day in Parabita! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from it. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blasting through my window, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be epic.” Little did I know... First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this old dude starts chatting me up about the weather. Like, bro, it’s sunny! What’s there to discuss? But he’s all, “Ah, the sun, it’s like a warm hug.” I’m just nodding, trying not to roll my eyes. Finally, I get my coffee, and I’m off to the piazza. The vibe is electric! There’s this street performer on Via Garibaldi, strumming a guitar like a boss. I’m thinking, “Dude, I gotta show him some moves.” So, I jump in, and we start jamming. It’s wild! People are gathering, clapping, and I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, knocks over my coffee! I’m like, “Noooo!” Coffee everywhere. I’m furious! I mean, c’mon, kid! But then I see his face—he’s just a little guy, laughing his head off. Can’t stay mad at that. I just laugh it off, grab a napkin, and keep playing. After that, I stroll down to the old castle, Castello di Parabita. It’s stunning! The history, the vibe, everything. I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. Then, I get this idea—why not write a song about it? So, I pull out my guitar and start strumming. Suddenly, this group of tourists shows up. They’re snapping pics, and one of them asks me to play “Volare.” I’m like, “Sure, why not?” So, I bust it out, and they’re singing along. It’s a total party! I’m grinning like an idiot. But then, the sun starts to dip, and I’m thinking, “Man, I gotta get to the gig tonight.” I rush over to Via Vittorio Emanuele. The venue’s packed! I’m feeling the energy. But then, I realize I left my pick at the castle. Ugh! Panic mode activated. I’m running back, dodging people, and I’m like, “Why do I always forget stuff?” Finally, I grab my pick and race back. I’m sweating, but I make it just in time. The crowd’s hyped, and I’m ready to rock. I start playing, and it’s like magic. Everyone’s singing, dancing, and I’m just lost in the moment. But then, mid-song, my string snaps! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” But I just laugh it off, change the string on stage, and keep going. The crowd loves it! They’re cheering, and I’m thinking, “This is what it’s all about.” After the show, I’m buzzing. I hit up a local pizzeria on Via San Giovanni. Best pizza ever! I’m talking fresh mozzarella, basil, the works. I’m devouring it, and this guy next to me starts talking about the best gelato spots. I’m like, “Dude, I’m in!” So, we hit up this gelato place, and I’m trying all these crazy flavors. I end up with pistachio and stracciatella. Heaven! I’m sitting there, laughing, thinking about how wild today was. Parabita, man. It’s got this charm. The streets, the people, the music. It’s like a little slice of paradise. I’m exhausted but happy. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
