Man, what a day! I swear, Pavullo-nel-Frignano really knows how to throw a curveball. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day in this cute little town. You know, the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and the streets are lined with those adorable old buildings. But nah, not today! So, I start my morning at Bar Centrale on Via Roma. Best cappuccino ever, like seriously! I’m sippin’ my coffee, and boom! I spill it all over my shirt. Great start, right? I’m there, looking like a walking coffee stain, and the barista, Marco, just laughs. “You need a bib, my friend!” he says. Thanks, Marco. Real supportive. After that, I head to the school on Via Mazzini. I’m all pumped to help these kids figure out their futures. But let me tell ya, these kids are wild! One kid, Luca, starts telling me he wants to be a professional gamer. I mean, cool dream, but c’mon! I’m like, “Dude, you gotta have a backup plan!” He just rolls his eyes. Classic. Then, outta nowhere, the fire alarm goes off! I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need.” We all pile out into the courtyard, and it’s chaos. Kids are running around, some are laughing, others are crying. I’m just standing there, trying to keep my cool. I mean, it’s Pavullo! We don’t do fire drills like this! Finally, we find out it was a false alarm. Phew! But then, I see this group of kids trying to climb the old stone wall near the school. I’m like, “What are you doing?!” They just laugh and say they’re trying to reach the stars. I can’t even. I mean, I get it, but c’mon! After that, I decide to take a breather. I stroll down to Parco della Resistenza. It’s so pretty there, with all the trees and flowers. I sit on a bench, just trying to chill. But then, this old man comes up to me. He starts talking about the history of Pavullo. I’m like, “Dude, I’m not a history buff!” But he’s super passionate, going on about the medieval times and how Pavullo was a strategic point. I’m nodding, but inside I’m thinking, “I just wanna relax!” Then, I get a text from my buddy, Marco (not the barista, another Marco). He’s like, “Let’s hit up the pizzeria on Via Garibaldi!” I’m in! I love that place. Their pizza is to die for. So, I rush over, and guess what? They’re out of my favorite topping! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” I mean, how does a pizzeria run out of toppings? Finally, I settle for a Margherita. It’s good, but not the same. I’m sitting there, eating my pizza, and I see this cute dog outside. I’m talking to the dog like it’s my best friend. “You get it, right? Life’s tough!” People are staring, but whatever. As the sun sets, I walk back through the streets of Pavullo. The lights are coming on, and it’s all so beautiful. I think about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. I’m exhausted but happy. I love this town, with all its quirks and surprises. So yeah, that was my day in Pavullo-nel-Frignano. Full of spills, thrills, and a bit of drama. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
