Man, what a day! I swear, if I had a euro for every crazy thing that happened in Pianoro today, I’d be rich. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m a potter, yeah? So, I head down Via Roma to my little workshop. Love that street. It’s got this vibe, you know? Old buildings, cobblestones, and the smell of fresh bread from the bakery. But today? Ugh. I step outside, and boom! A pigeon decides my shoulder is the perfect target. Like, really? I’m not a statue, dude! Anyway, I brush that off and get to work. I’m throwing clay, feeling all zen, when suddenly, my buddy Marco barges in. He’s all outta breath, like he just ran a marathon. “Dude, you won’t believe it!” he yells. I’m thinking, “What now?” Turns out, there’s a festival happening on Piazza della Libertà. I mean, I love a good festa, but I’m knee-deep in clay! But Marco’s got that look, you know? The “you gotta see this” look. So, I’m like, “Fine, let’s go!” We rush over, and it’s packed! People everywhere, music blasting, and the smell of fried dough in the air. I’m drooling. Then, outta nowhere, I see this old lady, Nonna Rosa, selling her famous tortellini. I’m like, “Nonna, you’re a legend!” She just laughs and hands me a plate. Best tortellini ever. I’m in heaven. But then, I spill some on my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a walking food disaster. So, I’m trying to clean up when I hear this commotion. Turns out, there’s a street performer doing some wild juggling act. He’s tossing knives, and I’m like, “Dude, chill! This ain’t a horror movie!” But the crowd’s loving it. I’m just standing there, half-eating tortellini, half-watching this guy almost take his own head off. Then, I spot my neighbor, Luca. He’s got this huge grin, and I’m like, “What’s up, man?” He tells me he just got a new kiln. I’m like, “Dude, that’s awesome!” But then he says it’s too big for his workshop. I’m thinking, “What are you gonna do with it? Use it as a coffee table?” After all that chaos, I finally head back to my workshop. I’m covered in clay, food, and a bit of pigeon poop. Classy, right? But I’m feeling good. I sit down, and I’m like, “Let’s make some magic.” I start shaping this vase, and it’s coming out perfect. Like, I’m channeling my inner Michelangelo or something. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my sister. She’s like, “Hey, can you babysit tonight?” I’m like, “Seriously? I just had the craziest day!” But of course, I say yes. Family, right? So, I finish up, clean the mess, and head home. I’m exhausted but happy. Pianoro’s got this energy, you know? The streets, the people, the food. It’s wild. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. And that’s my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in Pianoro, I guess!
