Man, what a day! I swear, Pisogne really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m a machine milking operator, right? Sounds chill, but today was anything but. I woke up late. Like, super late. My alarm? Totally ignored it. I jumped outta bed, threw on my work clothes, and bolted out the door. I live near Via Roma, so I had to sprint down the street. You know, the one with all the cute little cafes? Yeah, I passed by and thought, “Coffee? Nah, I’ll just grab one later.” Spoiler alert: I didn’t. So, I get to the dairy farm, and it’s chaos. The machines are acting up. Like, come on! I’m not a mechanic! I’m just here to milk cows, not fix robots! I’m sweating bullets, trying to figure out what’s wrong. I mean, I love my job, but today? Ugh. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Marco shows up. He’s always got some wild stories. He starts talking about this new gelato place on Via Cavour. Apparently, they have a flavor called “Pistachio Dream.” I’m like, “Dude, focus! Cows first, gelato later!” But honestly, I was kinda tempted. Finally, I get the machines working. Thank goodness! I’m milking away, and it’s going smooth. Then, bam! One of the cows decides it’s time to kick. I’m dodging like I’m in a freakin’ action movie. “Not today, Bessie!” I yell. The other workers are cracking up. I’m just trying to keep my cool. After that, I needed a break. So, I head to the little park by the lake. You know, the one with the view of the mountains? It’s gorgeous! I plop down on a bench, and for a sec, I forget about the chaos. Just me, the lake, and the sound of the waves. But then, I see this kid flying a kite. And I’m like, “Man, I wish I could be that carefree.” But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “We need you back ASAP!” Ugh, the joy is gone. I rush back, and guess what? The machines are acting up again! Seriously, can’t a guy catch a break? I’m fuming. I mean, Pisogne is beautiful, but today? It’s testing my patience. I’m thinking about that gelato again. “Pistachio Dream” is calling my name. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, we finish up. I’m exhausted but relieved. I head to Via Cavour, and there it is—the gelato shop! I walk in, and the smell hits me. I order the Pistachio Dream, and let me tell you, it’s like heaven in a cone. I’m sitting there, licking my gelato, and all the stress just melts away. As I stroll back home, I can’t help but smile. Pisogne, you crazy little town, you’ve got your quirks, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything. Even on a rough day, you’ve got a way of making it all worth it. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Now, if only I could figure out how to keep those machines from acting up…
