Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a car instructor in Polla is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the road on Via Roma. Classic Polla street, ya know? But traffic? Ugh, don’t even get me started. It’s like everyone decided to take their sweet time today. I’m sittin’ there, honking like a madman, and all I can think is, “C’mon, people! We ain’t in a parade!” Finally, I get to the driving school. My first student, Marco, shows up late. Typical. He rolls in, all flustered, and I’m like, “Dude, you’re not auditioning for a race. Chill!” We hop in the car, and he’s already sweating bullets. I mean, it’s just a car, not a rocket ship! We start on Via San Giovanni. It’s a narrow street, and I swear, every time he turns, I’m gripping the seat like it’s a life raft. “Marco, watch the curb!” I yell. He’s like, “I got this!” But then he nearly sideswipes a parked Vespa. I’m like, “Dude, that’s not how you make friends in Polla!” Then, outta nowhere, this old lady crosses the street. I’m talkin’ like she’s got a lifetime of stories. Marco slams the brakes, and I’m thrown forward. “What the heck, man?!” I shout. The lady just smiles and waves. I’m like, “You’re a legend, ma’am!” After that, we hit the main square, Piazza della Repubblica. It’s bustling! People everywhere, street vendors selling arancini, and I’m drooling. But Marco? He’s too busy freaking out about pedestrians. “Just drive, bro!” I say. “They’ll move!” So, we’re cruising, and I spot my buddy Luca at the café. He’s sippin’ espresso, lookin’ all relaxed. I’m like, “Luca! You wanna take over?” He laughs, but I’m serious. I need a break! Next, we head to Via delle Terme. Beautiful street, but the traffic lights? They’re like a game of roulette. Green, red, yellow—who knows? Marco’s sweating again. “Just follow the lights, man!” I say. But he’s too busy staring at the cute girl on the corner. “Focus!” I yell. Finally, we pull over. I’m like, “Dude, you survived! High five!” But he’s still in shock. “I can’t believe I didn’t crash!” I’m like, “Welcome to Polla, my friend. It’s a wild ride!” After that, I’m done for the day. I grab a gelato from my favorite spot on Via Vittorio Emanuele. Chocolate hazelnut, of course. I sit on a bench, watching the sunset. Polla’s got this vibe, ya know? It’s chaotic but beautiful. But then, I see a guy trying to parallel park. He’s all over the place, and I can’t help but laugh. “C’mon, man! It’s not rocket science!” I shout. He looks at me, and I just wave. As I head home, I think about the day. It was crazy, emotional, and full of surprises. Polla, you never cease to amaze me. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s adventures!
