Man, what a day in Prevalle! I swear, I thought I was just gonna chill, maybe grab a pizza at that spot on Via Roma. But nah, life had other plans. So, I roll outta bed, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be easy.” Ha! Little did I know. I hit the streets, and it’s already buzzing. Prevalle’s got this vibe, ya know? The cobblestones on Via Garibaldi are all shiny from the morning dew. I’m thinking, “This place is beautiful.” But then, boom! I get a call. Some ruckus down by the park near the Chiesa di San Giovanni. I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” I rush over, and it’s chaos. Kids are running, people are yelling. Turns out, some dude thought it’d be funny to set off fireworks in the middle of the day. Like, who does that? I’m standing there, trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m fuming. I mean, come on! Prevalle’s a chill town. We don’t need that nonsense. I finally spot the guy, and he’s just laughing it up. I’m like, “Dude, you’re gonna get yourself in trouble.” But he just shrugs. Ugh, some people! After that, I decide to take a breather. I hit up the café on Via Mazzini. Best espresso in town, no cap. I’m sipping my coffee, trying to calm down, when I overhear this couple arguing. They’re going at it about some stupid thing—like, who left the lights on. I’m thinking, “Really? This is what you’re fighting about?” But then, outta nowhere, the guy pulls out a ring! Proposes right there! I’m like, “What the heck?!” The girl’s face goes from angry to shocked to happy in like two seconds. I’m grinning like an idiot. Prevalle’s got its moments, man. So, I’m feeling good again, right? But then, I get another call. This time, it’s serious. Some sketchy stuff happening down by the old mill on Via della Libertà. I’m thinking, “Great, just when I thought I could relax.” I rush over, and it’s a whole scene. There’s a crowd, and I can see some shady characters lurking around. My heart’s racing. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “This is not what I signed up for.” I start talking to some locals. They’re all like, “Yeah, we’ve seen these guys before.” I’m thinking, “Why can’t people just chill?” But then, one of the guys starts acting all tough, and I’m like, “Oh boy, here we go.” Long story short, I end up having to diffuse the situation. It’s wild. I’m using my best negotiation skills, trying to keep it cool. Finally, they back off, and I’m like, “Phew, that was close.” By the time I’m done, I’m exhausted. I head back to the café, and the barista’s like, “You look like you’ve had a day.” I just laugh. “You have no idea.” As I sit there, I can’t help but think about Prevalle. It’s a small town, but it’s got heart. The streets, the people, the chaos—it’s all part of the charm. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Full of surprises, anger, and a bit of joy. Just another day in Prevalle, I guess. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
