Man, what a day! I swear, Pulsano really knows how to throw a curveball. Woke up this mornin’ thinkin’ it’d be just another chill day. You know, grab a coffee at Bar Centrale on Via Roma, maybe hit the beach later. But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m sippin’ my cappuccino, right? And suddenly, this dude runs in, all outta breath. He’s like, “Did you see the news?!” I’m thinkin’, “What news? Did they finally find the best gelato in town?” Turns out, there was a freakin’ landslide on Via Litoranea! Like, what the heck? I mean, I love a good drama, but not when it involves my commute. I rush outta the café, and the streets are chaos. Cars honkin’, people shoutin’. I’m dodgin’ folks like I’m in some kinda video game. I finally get to the scene, and wow, it’s a mess. Mud everywhere, like a giant chocolate cake exploded. I’m tryin’ to take it all in, but my phone buzzes. It’s my boss. Ugh, can’t a guy catch a break? “Where are you?” she texts. I’m like, “Uh, stuck in a mudslide, BRB.” But I can’t just leave, right? I mean, I’m the admin. Gotta keep things runnin’. So, I start helpin’ out. Grab a shovel, get my hands dirty. Who knew I’d be a mud-slinger today? After a while, I’m covered in muck, but I feel kinda good. Like, I’m doin’ somethin’ for my community. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to me. She’s like, “You’re a good boy!” I’m thinkin’, “Lady, I’m a mess!” But it made me smile. Finally, they clear the road, and I’m like, “Phew, time to get back to work.” But nooo, the universe isn’t done with me yet. I head to the office on Via Cavour, and guess what? The power’s out! Seriously? I can’t catch a break. So, I’m sittin’ there in the dark, tryin’ to figure out what to do. I pull out my phone, scrollin’ through social media. Everyone’s postin’ about the landslide, and I’m like, “Great, I’m famous now.” But then I see a post about a beach party at Lido Azzurro. I’m like, “Heck yes! I need this!” I finally get outta the office, and the sun’s settin’. The sky’s all pink and orange, and I’m feelin’ a bit better. I head to the beach, and it’s packed. Music blastin’, people laughin’. I grab a spritz, and for a moment, I forget about the craziness of the day. But then, I see my coworker, Marco, dancin’ like a maniac. I’m talkin’ full-on dad moves. I can’t help but laugh. I join him, and we’re just two idiots shakin’ it on the sand. It’s ridiculous, but it feels good. As the night goes on, I’m surrounded by friends, good vibes, and the sound of waves. I think about how Pulsano, with all its quirks, can turn a disaster into a party. I mean, who else can say they helped clear a mudslide and then danced on the beach in the same day? So yeah, today was wild. I’m exhausted, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Pulsano, you crazy little gem, you keep me on my toes. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
