OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Reggiolo, you’ve got my heart racing and my brain spinning. First off, I roll up to this cute little house on Via Roma. Super chill vibe, ya know? The kids, Luca and Sofia, are like little tornadoes. I swear, they have more energy than a double espresso! 😂 So, I get there, and it’s all good vibes. We start with some coloring. But then, outta nowhere, Luca decides he wants to be Picasso. He grabs a crayon and goes full-on Jackson Pollock on the living room wall. I’m like, “Dude, that’s not how this works!” But he’s just laughing, and I’m trying not to lose it. Then, we head out to the park on Via Garibaldi. It’s a nice spot, lots of trees and stuff. But guess what? It starts pouring! Like, seriously, Reggiolo? You couldn’t wait 10 minutes? So, we’re running back, and I’m slipping on the wet pavement. I’m like a cartoon character, arms flailing everywhere. 😂 Finally, we get back, soaked but laughing. I’m thinking, “Okay, we survived the rain. We’re heroes!” But then, Sofia decides she wants to bake cookies. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” But I forgot how messy kids can be in the kitchen. Flour everywhere! It looked like a snowstorm hit. While we’re baking, I get a call from my friend. She’s like, “Hey, wanna go out tonight?” And I’m like, “Girl, I’m knee-deep in cookie dough and chaos!” But I can’t say no to a night out, right? So, I’m trying to multitask, mixing dough and texting. Then, the oven starts beeping. I’m like, “Oh no, the cookies!” I open it, and they’re burnt to a crisp. I’m talking charcoal level. I’m so mad! I just wanted to impress the kids with my baking skills. But they’re like, “It’s okay, we can eat the burnt ones!” Kids are so sweet, even when they’re covered in flour. After the cookie disaster, we decide to chill with some cartoons. We plop down on the couch, and I’m thinking, “Finally, some peace.” But then, the doorbell rings. It’s the neighbor, Mr. Rossi, with his dog. The dog bolts in, and chaos ensues again! Luca and Sofia are chasing the dog around the house. I’m just sitting there, laughing and shaking my head. By the time their parents get home, I’m exhausted but happy. I mean, Reggiolo, you’ve thrown everything at me today! Rain, burnt cookies, and a dog invasion. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. As I’m leaving, I walk down Via Roma again, and I can’t help but smile. This little town has its quirks, but it’s homey. The streets are lined with cute cafes and shops. I think about grabbing a gelato, but I’m too tired. So, I head home, thinking about how wild today was. I’m ready for a nap, but also kinda pumped for my next adventure. Reggiolo, you’ve got my heart! ❤️
