Man, what a day! I swear, Riano is a wild ride. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Roma. Classic spot. I’m strolling, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. But then, bam! I trip over some cobblestones. Like, who designed these streets? They’re like a medieval obstacle course! I’m all “C’mon, Riano, get it together!” Anyway, I finally make it to the market. It’s buzzing! Fresh produce everywhere. I’m eyeing these tomatoes, right? Juicy, red, perfect. But then, this old lady cuts in front of me. I’m like, “Seriously?!” But she’s got that grandma vibe, so I let it slide. I mean, who can resist a grandma? After that, I head down to Piazza della Repubblica. It’s packed! Street performers, kids running around, and I’m just trying to do my merch thing. I’m setting up my display, and this kid runs by, knocks over my stuff. Ugh! I’m fuming. Like, dude, watch where you’re going! But then, I see him smile, and I can’t stay mad. Kids, man. They’re like little tornadoes of chaos. So, I’m trying to salvage my display when I spot this cute café on Via della Libertà. I’m like, “Okay, break time!” I grab a pastry, and it’s heavenly. Flaky, buttery goodness. I’m in heaven. But then, I spill coffee all over my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like a walking disaster. Then, I get a call from my boss. “Hey, we need more stock!” I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” I just got here! But whatever, I’m a trooper. I dash over to Via dei Castagni. It’s a bit of a trek, but I’m fueled by caffeine and determination. On the way, I pass this little park. It’s so peaceful. I see people chilling, dogs playing, and I’m like, “Why can’t every day be like this?” But then, I remember my coffee-stained shirt and reality hits. Finally, I get to the supplier. It’s a madhouse! People everywhere, shouting in Italian. I’m just trying to get my order, but it’s chaos. I’m sweating, my heart’s racing. I’m like, “Can I just get my stuff and go?” But nooo, it’s Riano. Nothing’s easy here. After what feels like an eternity, I grab the stock and head back. I’m exhausted. But then, I see the sunset over the hills. It’s stunning. I stop for a sec, take it in. Riano’s got this vibe, you know? It’s chaotic, but it’s beautiful. I finally make it back to my spot. I’m setting up again, and this couple comes by. They’re super into my stuff! They’re laughing, joking, and I’m like, “Yes! Finally, some good energy!” We chat, and they end up buying a bunch. I’m on cloud nine. But then, just as I’m packing up, it starts to rain. Of course! I’m scrambling to cover my stuff. I’m soaked, but I’m laughing. Like, what else can you do? Riano, you crazy city! By the time I get home, I’m a mess. But I’m smiling. It was a rollercoaster, but that’s life, right? Riano, you’ve got my heart. Even with your cobblestones and crazy markets. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
