Man, what a day! Seriously, Rivarolo-Canavese, you’ve got me all twisted up. I woke up this morning, sun shining through my window, and thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the streets of Via Roma, right? I’m just vibin’, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. But then, BAM! I trip over some uneven pavement. Like, c’mon, Rivarolo, can we fix this? I’m an artist-technologist, not a stunt double! My coffee goes flying, and I’m left standing there, looking like a total fool. Great start, right? So, I shake it off and head to the market at Piazza Martiri. It’s buzzing! Fresh produce, people chatting, the smell of pastries wafting through the air. I’m like, “Yes! This is what I need!” I grab some figs—so sweet, so juicy. But then, I see this dude trying to haggle over a price. Like, bro, it’s a fig, not a Ferrari! Just pay the guy already! After that, I stroll down Via Cavour, and I’m feeling good. I spot this mural on the wall, and it’s dope! Bright colors, wild shapes. I whip out my sketchbook, ready to capture the vibe. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, knocks my book outta my hands, and it lands in a puddle. Ugh! Seriously?! I’m about to lose it. My sketches are ruined! But wait, there’s more! I decide to take a breather at the Parco della Rimembranza. It’s beautiful there, trees everywhere, a little slice of peace. I sit on a bench, trying to calm down. Just as I’m about to breathe, I hear this loud commotion. A bunch of kids are playing soccer, and one of them kicks the ball right at me! I dodge it like a ninja, but man, my heart’s racing. Then, I see this old man feeding pigeons. He’s got this huge bag of bread, and the birds are going wild. I can’t help but laugh. It’s like a scene from a movie. I snap a pic for the ‘gram. Gotta share the chaos, right? After that, I wander over to the Castello di Rivarolo. It’s stunning! I mean, who doesn’t love a good castle? I’m snapping pics, feeling inspired again. But then, I overhear this tour guide talking about the history. Apparently, this place has been around since the 10th century! Mind blown. I’m like, “Dude, I can barely keep my plants alive!” As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back through Via Garibaldi, and I’m feeling all sorts of emotions. Happy, frustrated, inspired, you name it. I stop at this little gelato shop. I mean, I deserve a treat after today, right? I get a scoop of pistachio, and it’s heavenly. Like, why can’t every day end with gelato? But then, as I’m enjoying my gelato, I see this couple arguing. It’s getting heated, and I’m just standing there, trying to enjoy my dessert. I’m thinking, “C’mon, guys, not in public!” But then, they start laughing, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe love is weird like that.” Finally, I head home, exhausted but buzzing from the day. Rivarolo-Canavese, you’ve thrown me through the wringer, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. You’re chaotic, beautiful, and full of surprises. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
