Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Romentino is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. You never know what’s comin’ next. So, I roll into work at this club on Via Roma, right? It’s a chill spot, but tonight? Oh boy, it was anything but chill. First off, I’m just settin’ up, checkin’ IDs, you know the drill. Then, outta nowhere, this dude stumbles in. I mean, he’s swayin’ like he’s on a boat in the Po River. I’m like, “Bro, you good?” He just grins and slurs somethin’ about the best pizza in town. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you’re in the wrong place for pizza.” But hey, it’s Romentino, so who am I to judge? Then, around 10 PM, the crowd starts pourin’ in. It’s packed! I’m talkin’ like Via Garibaldi on market day. Everyone’s hyped, laughin’, and I’m just tryin’ to keep the peace. But then, I spot this group of guys on the corner. They’re loud, obnoxious, and one of ‘em’s wearin’ a shirt that says “I love Romentino.” I’m like, “Really, man? You love it so much, why you gotta act like a clown?” So, I stroll over, tryin’ to keep it cool. But before I can even say, “Hey, chill out,” one of ‘em shoves another guy. Boom! Instant chaos. I’m in the middle of it, tryin’ to separate ‘em like I’m breakin’ up a dogfight. My heart’s racin’, and I’m thinkin’, “This is NOT what I signed up for.” Finally, I get ‘em apart, and I’m like, “Listen, fellas, we’re in Romentino, not a WWE match. Keep it together!” They laugh, but I’m serious. I don’t wanna kick anyone out, but I will if I have to. After that, things calm down for a bit. I grab a quick breather outside on Via Cavour. The night air’s nice, and I can hear the sounds of the city. It’s peaceful, ya know? But then, I see this lady walkin’ her dog. The dog’s tiny, like a little furball, and it starts yappin’ at me. I’m like, “Chill, pup! I’m not here to fight.” The lady laughs, and I’m thinkin’, “At least someone’s havin’ a good time.” But then, back inside, it’s like the universe decided to throw me a curveball. This girl walks in, and wow, she’s stunning. But she’s also got this wild energy. She’s dancin’ like nobody’s watchin’, and I’m just tryin’ to keep my cool. But then, she trips over her own feet and goes down. I rush over, thinkin’, “Oh man, please don’t let this be a disaster.” She looks up at me, and I’m like, “You good?” And she just laughs, says, “I’m fine! Just testing the floor!” I can’t help but chuckle. That’s Romentino for ya—full of surprises. As the night rolls on, I’m feelin’ a mix of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster, I swear. I’m thinkin’ about how this city, with its narrow streets and cozy cafes, can be so wild. Romentino’s got this vibe, ya know? It’s like a small town with a big heart, but sometimes that heart beats a little too fast. Around 2 AM, things start to wind down. I’m exhausted, but I can’t help but smile. I love this job, even with all the craziness. I mean, where else can you see the best and worst of people in one night? As I lock up, I take one last look at the streets of Romentino. The lights are dim, and it’s quiet now. I think about all the stories I’ve seen tonight. It’s a wild ride, but it’s my ride. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy night in Romentino. Can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
