Man, what a day! I swear, Rozzano really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. You know, the usual spot, Bar Centrale. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. But guess what? They ran outta milk! Like, how do you run outta milk in Italy? I’m standing there, all grumpy, thinking, “This is how my day starts?” So, I settle for an espresso. Strong enough to wake the dead. Then I head over to the park, Parco della Resistenza. It’s a nice spot, but today? Ugh. Kids everywhere, screaming like they’re auditioning for a horror movie. I’m just trying to enjoy my coffee, but nooo, it’s like a mini war zone. I’m dodging soccer balls and scooters. I mean, come on! Can’t a guy catch a break? So, I’m walking down Via Cavour, right? And I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s pretty good. I stop to listen, and suddenly, this old lady starts dancing like it’s 1960. I’m cracking up! She’s got moves! I’m thinking, “Maybe I should join her.” But nah, I’d just embarrass myself. Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, heavy rain. I’m soaked in seconds. I’m cursing Rozzano under my breath. “Why you gotta do me like this?” I duck into a little shop on Via Manzoni. It’s a cute place, selling all sorts of random stuff. I grab a cheap umbrella, and guess what? It’s broken! I’m like, “Really? This is my life now?” Finally, I decide to head home. I’m walking down Via della Repubblica, and I see this guy selling gelato. I mean, it’s like a beacon of hope in my soggy day. I get a scoop of pistachio, and it’s heavenly. I’m feeling a bit better, ya know? But then, I drop it. Right on the pavement. I’m standing there, staring at my fallen gelato like it’s a lost friend. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. I flop on the couch, thinking about how Rozzano really knows how to mess with a guy. But then, I remember the old lady dancing, and I can’t help but smile. Life’s weird, man. One minute you’re soaked and grumpy, and the next, you’re laughing at some random lady busting a move. So yeah, that was my day in Rozzano. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully, it involves less rain and more gelato.
