Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a librarian, right? And today in San-Bonifacio was like a rollercoaster. Buckle up, folks! First off, I woke up late. Classic me. Alarm didn’t go off. I’m sprinting down Via Roma, hair a mess, coffee in one hand, and my bag in the other. I swear, I almost tripped over a cat. Like, chill, kitty! Not today! So, I finally get to the library, and it’s packed. I mean, who knew people actually read? I’m like, “Hey, it’s a library, not a concert!” But whatever, I love my job. I start helping this kid find a book on dinosaurs. He’s super into it, and I’m like, “Dude, T-Rex is the GOAT!” Then, outta nowhere, this lady storms in. She’s all like, “Where’s my book?!” I’m thinking, “Lady, it’s a library, not a lost and found!” Turns out, she’s looking for some ancient cookbook. I’m like, “Chill, it’s probably on the shelf.” But she’s not having it. She’s pacing around like a lion. I’m just trying to keep my cool. After that drama, I decide to take a break. I head out to Piazza della Libertà. It’s beautiful, man! The sun’s shining, people are laughing, and I’m just soaking it all in. I grab a gelato from that little shop on the corner. You know the one? Best gelato in town! I get pistachio, of course. But then, bam! I see this street performer. He’s juggling fire! Like, what?! I’m standing there, mouth agape, thinking, “This is San-Bonifacio, not Vegas!” But hey, I’m all for some excitement. I toss him a euro. He winks at me. I’m like, “Whoa, buddy, I’m just here for the show!” So, I head back to the library, feeling all pumped. But guess what? The kid with the dinosaur book? He’s gone! I’m like, “Dude, where’d you go?” I check the kids’ section, the history aisle, even the bathroom. No sign of him. I’m starting to think he was a mirage or something. Then, I get a call from my boss. She’s like, “We need to talk about the new system.” I’m thinking, “Oh great, more tech stuff.” I’m not a tech wizard, okay? I’m a book nerd! But I nod and say, “Sure, let’s do it.” Later, I’m shelving books on Via Garibaldi. I find this old, dusty novel. It’s like, ancient! I blow off the dust and read the first line. It’s about love and loss. I’m like, “Wow, this is deep.” I get all emotional, standing there in the aisle, thinking about life. But then, I hear a loud crash! I rush over to the front desk. Some dude knocked over a whole shelf of books! I’m like, “Seriously, man?!” I’m trying to help him pick them up, but he’s just standing there, looking lost. I’m thinking, “Dude, it’s not rocket science!” Finally, the day winds down. I’m exhausted but happy. I love this city. San-Bonifacio is quirky, beautiful, and full of surprises. I walk home, taking in the sights. The old buildings, the narrow streets, the vibe. It’s my home. As I lay in bed, I can’t help but smile. What a day! I’m ready for whatever tomorrow brings. Bring it on, San-Bonifacio!
