Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a stove-maker in San-Carlo-All-Arena is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window on Via Roma. I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I head to the workshop on Via Garibaldi. I’m all pumped to craft this new stove design. I got this wild idea to mix old-school with modern flair. But guess what? My tools are MIA! Like, where’d they go? I swear, they have legs. I’m rummaging through the place, cursing under my breath. “Who the heck borrowed my hammer?” Finally, I find it under a pile of scrap metal. Ugh! I’m already fuming. But whatever, I start working. The smell of metal and wood fills the air. It’s kinda therapeutic, ya know? Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Marco barges in. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta check out the market on Piazza della Libertà!” I’m like, “Bro, I’m busy!” But he’s persistent. So, I take a break. We stroll over to the market. It’s packed! Vendors shoutin’, people haggling. I spot this old lady selling the best arancini. I mean, they’re like little golden balls of happiness. I grab one, and it’s like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I’m in heaven! But then, I see this guy trying to sell fake designer bags. I’m like, “C’mon, man! This is San-Carlo-All-Arena, not some shady alley!” I can’t stand that stuff. It’s like, respect the craft, ya know? I’m all fired up, ready to confront him, but Marco pulls me back. “Chill, dude. Not worth it.” So, we head back to the workshop. I’m still fuming, but I get back to work. I’m hammering away, lost in my thoughts. Suddenly, I hear this loud crash outside. I rush out, and there’s a street performer who just knocked over his whole setup! Instruments everywhere! I can’t help but laugh. The guy’s trying to gather his stuff, looking all flustered. I help him out, and he’s super grateful. Turns out, he’s a musician from Napoli. We start chatting, and he tells me about his gigs. I’m like, “Man, that’s awesome! You should play at the piazza!” He’s down for it, and we exchange numbers. Who knew a stove-maker could make a music connection? Later, I’m back at it, and I finally finish the stove. It’s a beauty! I’m admiring my work when I hear a knock. It’s a customer from Via San Carlo. She’s interested in buying! I’m like, “Yes! Finally, some good news!” We chat, and she loves the design. I’m feelin’ like a rockstar. But then, she starts haggling. I mean, c’mon! I just poured my soul into this thing! I’m tryin’ to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Lady, this ain’t a flea market!” After some back and forth, we settle on a price. I’m relieved, but also exhausted. As the sun sets over San-Carlo-All-Arena, I’m walking home, reflecting on the day. It was a wild ride. From losing my tools to making a new friend, to selling a stove. This city, man, it’s full of surprises. I love it, even when it drives me nuts. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional, and totally unpredictable day in San-Carlo-All-Arena. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
