OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in my little room on Via Roma, right? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a client at 10 AM. This dude, I swear, he was late. Like, who shows up late to a geisha appointment? Rude! I was pacing around, trying to keep my cool. I mean, I had my hair all done up, my kimono was on point, and I was ready to dazzle. Finally, he rolls in, looking like he just woke up from a nap. Ugh. We went for a stroll down Corso Vittorio Emanuele. It’s a cute street, but man, the crowds! I felt like I was in a sardine can. People everywhere, tourists snapping pics, and I’m just trying to keep my zen. But then, this kid bumps into me, and my fan goes flying! Like, NO! My favorite fan! I was ready to unleash my inner dragon. But then, I saw this little café on the corner of Via Garibaldi. The smell of fresh pastries hit me like a ton of bricks. I mean, who can resist a good pastry? So, I dragged my client in, and we got some bomb cannoli. OMG, they were heavenly! I was like, “Okay, maybe today isn’t so bad.” After that, we headed to the Parco della Rimembranza. It’s this beautiful park, and I thought, “Let’s chill here for a bit.” But then, outta nowhere, it started to rain! Like, seriously? I was just trying to enjoy the flowers and the vibe. So, we ducked under a tree, and I was like, “Great, now I’m gonna smell like wet dog.” But then, this old man came up to us. He was super sweet, telling us stories about San-Giovanni-Lupatoto. He talked about the old days, how the streets used to be empty, and now it’s all hustle and bustle. I was like, “Wow, that’s kinda cool.” Made me appreciate my city a bit more, ya know? After the rain stopped, we decided to hit up the local market on Via Cavour. OMG, the colors! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all these handmade crafts. I was in heaven. I picked up some cute trinkets, and my client was like, “You’re spending too much!” I was like, “Dude, it’s called self-care!” But then, I got a call from my geisha house. They were like, “We need you back ASAP!” I was like, “What? I’m in the middle of a date!” But duty calls, right? So, I had to cut it short. My client was bummed, but I promised him I’d make it up later. On my way back, I passed by the old church on Piazza della Libertà. It’s stunning, but I was too frazzled to appreciate it. I mean, I was running late! I dashed through the streets, dodging people like I was in a video game. Finally, I made it back, and the vibe was intense. The other girls were buzzing about their day, and I was like, “You won’t believe the chaos I just survived!” We laughed, shared stories, and I felt this wave of relief wash over me. So, yeah, my day was a rollercoaster. From anger to happiness to surprise, it was all over the place. But that’s life in San-Giovanni-Lupatoto, right? Full of unexpected twists and turns. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
