Yo, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness that went down in San-Giuliano-Milanese. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally betrayed me. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. I mean, who needs matching socks, right? Anyway, I grabbed a quick coffee from that little bar on Via Roma. You know the one? The one with the best pastries. I swear, their cornetti are like little bites of heaven. But then, bam! I step outside, and it’s pouring. Like, seriously? I just wanted a chill day. I’m dodging puddles like I’m in some weird Mario game. I finally make it to the bus stop on Via Garibaldi, and guess what? The bus is late. Classic. I’m standing there, getting soaked, and I’m like, “C’mon, San-Giuliano, don’t do me dirty like this!” Finally, the bus rolls up, and it’s packed. I squeeze in, and it smells like a mix of wet dog and cheap cologne. Ugh. I’m crammed next to this dude who’s blasting music on his phone. Like, bro, we’re not at a club. Chill! We finally get to the center, and I’m feeling a bit better. The sun peeks out, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe today won’t suck.” I hit up the park at Parco della Resistenza. It’s so nice there, with all the trees and stuff. I plop down on a bench, and just breathe. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by with a frisbee and totally nails me in the face. I’m like, “What the heck, dude?!” I’m seeing stars, and everyone’s laughing. I can’t even be mad. It was kinda funny. After that, I decide to check out the local shops. There’s this cool little game store on Via Dante. I’m browsing, and I find this rare game I’ve been hunting for ages. I’m freaking out! I’m like, “This is my lucky day!” But then, I look at the price tag. My heart sinks. It’s like, “Why you gotta do me like that?” I leave the store empty-handed, but I’m not giving up. I head over to the gelato place on Via Mazzini. I mean, who can resist gelato, right? I get a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of stracciatella. It’s like a party in my mouth! I’m walking down the street, feeling like a king, when I spot my buddy Marco. We start chatting, and he tells me about this gaming tournament happening later. I’m like, “Dude, I’m so in!” But then, I remember I promised my mom I’d help her with something. Ugh, adulting sucks. So, I rush home, and on the way, I pass by the old church on Piazza della Libertà. It’s beautiful, but I’m too stressed to appreciate it. I get home, help my mom, and then I’m off to the tournament. When I get there, the vibe is electric. Everyone’s hyped, and I’m feeling it too. I sign up, and the competition is fierce. I’m sweating bullets, but I’m having a blast. I even make it to the finals! But then, I choke. I mean, I totally flubbed it. I’m sitting there, facepalming, while everyone’s cheering for the other guy. But you know what? I don’t even care. I had an epic day in San-Giuliano-Milanese. From the rain to the frisbee to the gelato, it was wild. I’m exhausted but happy. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
