OMG, what a day! Like, seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in my tiny apartment on Via Roma, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be lit!” Spoiler alert: it was NOT. First off, I’m running late. Classic me. I spill coffee all over my fave shirt. Ugh! It’s a cute little number from that boutique on Corso Garibaldi. Now it’s a mess. Great start, huh? I throw on a jacket and dash out. San Salvo is buzzing. I mean, it’s a small town, but today? It’s like everyone decided to hit the streets. I’m weaving through the crowd on Via dei Pini, dodging tourists and locals alike. I swear, if one more person stops to take a selfie in front of the fountain, I might lose it. Like, it’s just water, people! Finally, I get to my first appointment. A wedding dress fitting. The bride is a total sweetheart, but her mom? OMG, she’s a piece of work. She’s all like, “This dress needs more sparkle!” I’m thinking, “Lady, it’s a wedding, not a disco!” But I smile and nod. Gotta keep the peace, right? After that, I head over to the beach. The sun is shining, and I’m feeling a bit better. I grab a gelato from that little shop on Lungomare. Best gelato ever! I’m talking creamy, dreamy goodness. But then, I see my ex. Ugh, why is he here? He’s with some new girl, and they look all lovey-dovey. I’m like, “Really? In San Salvo? Of all places?” I try to play it cool, but inside? I’m fuming. I mean, come on! I take a deep breath and remind myself, “You’re a stylist. You’re fabulous.” So, I strut past them like I own the place. Next, I have a client at a café on Piazza della Libertà. She’s a total diva. She wants a complete makeover. I’m all for it, but she’s throwing out ideas like confetti. “I want pink hair! No, blue! Wait, maybe green?” I’m like, “Chill, girl. Let’s not look like a walking rainbow.” By the time I leave, I’m exhausted. My feet hurt, and I’m ready to crash. But wait! I remember I promised my bestie I’d meet her at that cute bar on Via Cavour. So, I drag myself there. The vibe is chill, and I order a spritz. Finally, some relaxation! But then, the bartender spills it all over me. Seriously? I’m drenched in orange fizz. I can’t even. My bestie is laughing so hard, she’s crying. I mean, it’s funny, but also, I’m like, “Why me?” As the night goes on, we’re just chatting and laughing. I tell her about the bride and the gelato drama. She’s cracking up, and I’m feeling better. San Salvo has this magic, you know? Even when the day is a mess, it somehow makes it all okay. We end the night walking along the beach, the waves crashing. I look up at the stars and think, “Tomorrow’s a new day.” I mean, it can’t get worse, right? So yeah, that was my day in San Salvo. Full of chaos, laughter, and a sprinkle of drama. Just another day in the life of a stylist, I guess!
