Man, what a day! I swear, Sant-Angelo-di-Piove-di-Sacco is a wild ride. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day in this little town. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I hit the streets of Via Roma, right? I’m all pumped to promote this new café that just opened. It’s called “Caffè del Cuore.” Cute name, right? I’m thinking, “This place is gonna blow up!” But then, I get there, and it’s closed! Like, seriously? Who opens a café and then just… doesn’t open? I was ready to scream. So, I’m standing there, looking like a lost puppy, when I bump into this old dude. He’s got a cane and a hat that looks like it’s been through a war. He starts telling me about the “good ol’ days” in Sant-Angelo. Apparently, back in the day, this place was buzzing with life. Now? It’s like a ghost town sometimes. I mean, I love the quiet, but c’mon! Anyway, I’m trying to keep my cool. I’m like, “Yeah, man, I get it.” But inside, I’m fuming. I had a whole plan! I was gonna hand out flyers, charm the locals, maybe even get a selfie with the café owner. But nope, just me and my thoughts. So, I decide to wander down to Piazza della Libertà. It’s a nice spot, you know? A little fountain, some benches, and a few trees. I sit down, trying to chill. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball. He kicks it, and BAM! Right into my lap! I’m like, “Dude, what the heck?” But the kid just laughs and runs off. I can’t help but chuckle. Kids, man. They’re a trip. Then, I see this group of teenagers hanging out by the gelato shop on Via Garibaldi. They’re all about that social media life, taking selfies and stuff. I’m thinking, “These kids could help me promote the café!” So, I stroll over, trying to be all cool. I’m like, “Hey, you guys love gelato, right?” They nod, and I pitch the café. They’re interested! I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, just as I’m about to seal the deal, one of them spills their gelato all over my shoes. Ugh! I’m like, “Great, just great.” But they’re laughing, and I can’t help but laugh too. It’s just gelato, right? After that, I head over to the local market on Via Mazzini. It’s buzzing with people, and the smell of fresh produce is amazing. I grab some fresh bread and cheese, thinking I’ll have a little picnic later. But then, I see this lady selling handmade jewelry. It’s beautiful stuff! I get distracted and end up buying a bracelet. Totally not in the budget, but whatever. As I’m leaving the market, I run into my buddy Marco. He’s a local artist, always painting something crazy. He tells me about this art show happening later at the community center. I’m like, “Dude, I gotta promote that!” So, we team up. I’m handing out flyers, and he’s doing his thing. The night rolls in, and the art show is lit! I’m talking live music, people mingling, and the vibe is just right. I’m feeling good, like I actually made something happen today. I even get to chat with some locals who are super into the café idea. But then, just when I think it can’t get better, the power goes out! Like, seriously? In the middle of the show? Everyone’s freaking out, but I’m just laughing. It’s like a scene from a movie. We all pull out our phones for light, and it turns into this impromptu dance party. By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. Sant-Angelo-di-Piove-di-Sacco, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I’ll finally get that café open! Or maybe I’ll just end up with more gelato on my shoes. Who knows? But I’m ready for it!
