Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m an operator, right? Just your average Joe, but today? Today was a rollercoaster in Santa-Lucia-di-Piave. I woke up late, of course. Alarm? Nah, it decided to take a vacation. So, I’m rushing through breakfast, scarfing down some bread and jam. I mean, who needs a proper meal when you’ve got a busy day ahead? I sprinted outta my apartment on Via Roma, dodging the old lady with her shopping cart. Sorry, Signora! First stop, the office. It’s on Via Garibaldi, and let me tell ya, traffic was a nightmare. I swear, I saw a pigeon just chilling in the middle of the road like it owned the place. I honked, and it just looked at me like, “What’s your problem, dude?” I was like, “You’re the one blocking my way!” Finally made it to work, and guess what? My boss, Mr. Rossi, was in a mood. He’s always in a mood. He starts ranting about some project that went sideways. I mean, c’mon, it’s not like I’m the one who messed it up! But whatever, I just nodded and pretended to take notes. Then, during lunch, I hit up this little café on Piazza della Libertà. Best coffee ever! I ordered a cappuccino, and the barista, Marco, he’s a legend. He knows my order by heart. I sat outside, soaking up the sun, and for a moment, life was good. But then, BAM! A bird poops right on my shoulder. Like, seriously? I looked up, and that little jerk was just flying away like nothing happened. I laughed it off, but inside, I was fuming. After lunch, I had to head to Via XX Settembre for a meeting. The streets were packed, and I swear, I saw the same guy selling gelato three times. I mean, how much gelato can one person eat? But hey, it’s Italy, right? Gelato is life. The meeting was a disaster. Everyone was talking over each other, and I couldn’t get a word in. I felt like I was in a bad sitcom. At one point, I just zoned out, thinking about how I’d rather be back at that café, sipping my cappuccino. When I finally got outta there, I needed a breather. So, I took a stroll down to the river, the Piave. It’s beautiful there, man. The sun was setting, and the water was sparkling. I sat on a bench, just chillin’, and for a second, everything felt right. But then, my phone buzzed. Work again. Ugh! I headed back to the office, and guess what? The printer jammed. Classic. I spent like 20 minutes trying to fix it. I was ready to throw it out the window. But then, I remembered the time I accidentally printed 100 copies of a cat meme. Good times. Finally, I wrapped up my day. I walked home, taking the long way through Via della Vittoria. The streets were alive with people, laughter, and the smell of pizza. I stopped at my favorite pizzeria, and man, that slice was heavenly. As I got home, I thought about the day. It was chaotic, emotional, and honestly, a bit ridiculous. But that’s life in Santa-Lucia-di-Piave, right? Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of craziness. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a day without bird poop. But that’s just me!
