Man, what a day! I woke up in Santena, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m a typhlopedagogue, which is just a fancy way of sayin’ I teach visually impaired kids. So, I’m all about that patience and understanding, right? But today? Ugh, it was like the universe was testing me. So, I’m cruisin’ down Via Roma, and I’m already late. Like, classic me. I’m dodging people, and I swear, this one dude just stops in the middle of the sidewalk. Like, bro, move! I almost tripped over my own feet. I mean, c’mon, it’s not a museum, it’s a street! Finally, I get to the school on Via Cavour. The kids are waiting, and they’re all hyped up. I love their energy, but today? They were like little tornadoes. I’m tryin’ to teach them about textures, right? And one kid, Marco, decides to throw a rubber ball across the room. It hits me right in the face! I’m like, “Dude, what’s your problem?” But then I see his face, and I can’t help but laugh. Kids, man. They’re wild. After class, I needed a break. So, I hit up this little café on Piazza Martiri. Best coffee in town, no joke. I order my usual—cappuccino, extra foam. I sit down, and just as I’m about to take a sip, this pigeon swoops down and lands on my table. I’m like, “Seriously? You want my coffee?” I shoo it away, but it just looks at me like, “What’s your problem, human?” I mean, I get it, Santena’s got some good crumbs, but c’mon! Then, I decide to take a stroll. I walk down Via Garibaldi, and the sun is shining. It’s one of those perfect days, ya know? But then I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and it’s actually kinda nice. I stop to listen, and suddenly, a crowd forms. People are clapping, and I’m just vibin’. But then, outta nowhere, this guy starts breakdancing. Like, what? In Santena? I’m shocked! I mean, I love a good dance-off, but this was unexpected. But then, the mood shifts. I see a couple arguing on the corner of Via Vittorio Emanuele. It’s getting heated, and I’m just standing there, awkwardly sipping my coffee. I’m like, “Dude, not in public!” But they don’t care. It’s like a soap opera unfolding right in front of me. I half expect someone to pull out a microphone and start narrating. After that drama, I head to the park near the Castello di Santena. It’s beautiful there, with all the trees and flowers. I sit on a bench, just trying to chill. But then, I see this little kid running around with a kite. And I’m like, “Man, I miss those days.” Just pure joy, no worries. But then, the kite gets stuck in a tree. Classic! The kid starts crying, and I’m like, “C’mon, it’s just a kite!” But I get it. I really do. As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back home, and I can’t help but think about my day. It was a mess, but it was my mess. Santena is wild, unpredictable, and full of surprises. I love it. I love the chaos, the laughter, the little moments that make you wanna pull your hair out and hug the world at the same time. So yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional ride in Santena. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
