Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in my cozy little place in Santo-Stefano-di-Magra, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I decide to grab a coffee at this cute spot on Via Roma. You know, the one with the killer pastries? Yeah, that one. I’m standing in line, half-asleep, and this dude in front of me spills his cappuccino all over the counter. Like, come on, man! It’s 8 AM! I’m trying to wake up here! So, I’m all annoyed, but then the barista, this super friendly lady, gives me a free pastry for my troubles. Sweet, right? I’m suddenly happy again. After that, I head to the park, Parco della Rimembranza. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees everywhere, kids playing, and I’m just vibing. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs past me, chasing a soccer ball, and BAM! He crashes into me. I’m like, “Whoa, buddy! You trying to take me out?” But he just laughs and runs off. Kids, man. They’re wild. So, I’m sitting there, trying to collect my thoughts for my next client. I’m a sports psychologist, remember? Gotta be on my game. But then I see this group of teenagers playing football on the grass. They’re shouting, laughing, and I can’t help but smile. It’s like, this is what it’s all about, right? The joy of sport. But then, one of them kicks the ball too hard, and it flies right at me! I duck just in time. Phew! Close call. Now, I’m feeling a mix of emotions. Happy, annoyed, surprised. It’s like a rollercoaster. I decide to take a stroll down Via Cavour. It’s a beautiful street, lined with shops and cafes. I pop into this little store selling local wines. I mean, who can resist a good bottle of Sciacchetrà, right? I grab one, thinking, “This’ll be perfect for later.” But then, as I’m leaving, I bump into an old friend. We start chatting, and I’m like, “Dude, we should totally catch up more!” But then he tells me he’s moving to La Spezia. I’m like, “What? No way! You can’t leave Santo-Stefano!” I mean, it’s such a gem! The views, the vibe, the people! But he’s set on it. I’m bummed, but I wish him luck. After that, I head to my office, which is on Via della Libertà. I’ve got a client coming in, and I’m trying to shake off the craziness of the day. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my client canceling last minute. Ugh! Seriously? I could’ve used that session to vent! So, I decide to take a walk along the Magra River. It’s peaceful there, you know? The water’s flowing, and I can finally breathe. But then, I see this guy fishing. He’s got this huge grin on his face, and I’m like, “What’s he got that I don’t?” Turns out, he caught a fish! A big one! I’m jealous, but also kinda happy for him. As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back home, and I can’t help but think about the day. It was a whirlwind of emotions. Happy moments, annoying moments, and everything in between. Santo-Stefano-di-Magra, you’ve got my heart. Even with all the chaos, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, I get home, pour myself a glass of that Sciacchetrà, and just chill. What a day, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
