Man, what a day! I swear, Savigliano is a wild ride. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just another day in this cute lil’ town. But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m out on Via Roma, right? Just setting up my live ad gig. I’m all pumped, got my gear ready, and then boom! A pigeon decides my shoulder is its new throne. Like, seriously? I’m not a statue! I’m flapping my arms, trying to shoo it away, and people are just laughing. Great start, huh? Then, I’m trying to get my banner up on the corner of Piazza del Popolo. It’s a beautiful square, but today it’s like a circus. Kids running everywhere, and this one kid—man, he’s got a slingshot! He’s aiming at my banner like it’s a target. I’m like, “Dude, chill! That’s not a bullseye!” But he just giggles and lets it fly. Missed, thank God. But my heart? Racing like a Ferrari on Via Torino. Finally, I get everything set. I’m feeling good, right? Then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to me. She’s got this fierce look, like she’s ready to battle. She starts telling me about how the gelato in Savigliano used to be better back in her day. I’m just nodding, thinking, “Lady, I’m just here to sell some ads, not debate gelato history!” But she’s relentless. I mean, I love gelato too, but c’mon! After that, I decide to take a breather. I stroll down Via Cavour, and wow, the vibe changes. It’s quieter, more chill. I spot this cute café, and I’m like, “Yes, please!” I grab a cappuccino, and it’s like heaven in a cup. I’m sitting there, soaking in the sun, thinking maybe today ain’t so bad after all. But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring! Like, seriously? I’m running back to my spot, dodging puddles like I’m in some weird obstacle course. My gear is getting soaked, and I’m just praying my laptop doesn’t short-circuit. I’m cursing the weather, thinking, “Savigliano, you’re killing me!” Finally, the rain stops. I’m drenched but determined. I get back to my ad setup, and guess what? A crowd starts forming! People are curious, and I’m like, “Yes! Finally!” I start my pitch, and it’s going great. I’m cracking jokes, and they’re laughing. I’m feeling like a rockstar! But then, this guy in a bright orange shirt yells, “Hey! You’re not funny!” Ouch. My heart sinks. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a joke!” But he’s not having it. I’m ready to throw down, but then I remember—Savigliano is small. I can’t be that guy. So, I just laugh it off. As the sun sets, the vibe shifts again. The streets are lit up, and it’s beautiful. I’m packing up, feeling exhausted but happy. I think about all the crazy stuff that happened today. Savigliano, you’re a rollercoaster! I head home, thinking about that old lady and her gelato stories. Maybe I’ll try to find the best gelato tomorrow. Who knows what else this town has in store for me? But for now, I’m just glad to be done. What a day!
