Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Savignano-sul-Rubicone, right? This little gem in Italy, where the Rubicone River flows. I mean, it’s cute and all, but today? Ugh. First off, I hit the streets of Via Roma. You know, the main drag. I’m just trying to grab a coffee at my fave spot, Bar Centrale. But guess what? They ran outta my usual cappuccino! Like, how do you run outta coffee? It’s a coffee shop! I was ready to throw a fit. But then, I saw this cute dog outside. Instant mood lift! I mean, who can resist a fluffy pup, right? So, I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, and I spot this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s not half bad. I’m vibin’ to the music, feeling all the Italian charm. But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and poops right next to me! Like, really? I’m just tryna enjoy my day! After that, I decided to check out the old town. You know, the historic part? It’s got these narrow streets, and they’re all cobblestoned. Super picturesque, but also super easy to trip on. I almost ate it like three times. I swear, I’m not clumsy, but those stones are out to get me! Then, I stumbled upon the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. It’s this beautiful church, and I thought, “Hey, let’s go in and chill for a sec.” But as soon as I step inside, there’s this wedding happening! Like, surprise! I’m just standing there awkwardly, trying not to be that person who interrupts. But the bride? She looked stunning! I mean, I was low-key jealous. After the wedding crash, I needed food. So, I hit up a trattoria on Via Mazzini. I ordered some homemade pasta, and OMG, it was divine! Like, I could’ve eaten a mountain of it. But then, my waiter? He was a total character. He kept flirting with me, and I was like, “Dude, I’m just here for the food!” But hey, at least he made me laugh. Then, I decided to stroll by the Rubicone River. It’s so peaceful there. I sat on a bench, just watching the water flow. But then, I saw this group of kids playing soccer. They were so into it, yelling and laughing. I couldn’t help but smile. It reminded me of my childhood. But then, outta nowhere, one of the kids kicked the ball too hard, and it came flying at me! I barely dodged it. I mean, come on! I’m just trying to enjoy my day! As the sun started to set, I headed back towards the center. The sky was all pink and orange, and it was just beautiful. I thought, “Okay, maybe today wasn’t so bad after all.” But then, I realized I left my phone at the trattoria! Panic mode activated! I sprinted back, praying it was still there. Thank goodness, it was! The waiter even saved it for me. I was like, “You’re my hero!” He just winked and said, “Only for you.” Ugh, I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help but laugh. Finally, I made my way home, exhausted but happy. Savignano-sul-Rubicone, you crazy little town, you sure know how to keep a person on their toes! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
