Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Sedico, right? This little gem in the Dolomites. I mean, who knew this place could be so wild? I was just tryna enjoy my morning coffee at Bar Centrale on Via Roma. You know, the usual. But then, bam! My phone buzzes. Turns out, my buddy Marco is in town. He’s like, “Yo, let’s hit the market!” I’m like, “Sure, why not?” So, I chug my coffee and head out. The sun’s shining, and I’m feeling good. But then, I step outside and it’s like a sauna! Ugh, why is it so hot? Anyway, I stroll down Via Garibaldi, and the vibe is chill. People are out, chatting, laughing. I love that about Sedico. It’s got this small-town feel but with a twist. So, I get to the market, and it’s packed! Like, where did all these people come from? I spot Marco by the fruit stand. He’s haggling over some peaches. I’m like, “Dude, just buy them already!” But he’s all about the deal. Classic Marco. We grab some fresh produce, and I’m feeling all healthy and stuff. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady starts yelling at a vendor. I mean, she’s going off! Turns out, he sold her bad tomatoes. I’m standing there, half-laughing, half-worried. Like, lady, chill! It’s just tomatoes! But she’s not having it. I’m thinking, “This is Sedico, not a reality show!” After the market madness, we decide to hit up the park. Parco della Rimembranza, I think? It’s beautiful there. Trees everywhere, and the mountains in the background. I’m snapping pics like a tourist. Marco’s rolling his eyes, but whatever. Suddenly, we hear this loud noise. A bunch of kids are playing soccer, and one of them kicks the ball right at us! I duck, but Marco? Nah, he just stands there like a deer in headlights. The ball hits him right in the stomach. I’m dying! He’s like, “What the heck, man?” I can’t breathe from laughing. So, we’re sitting on a bench, and I’m still chuckling. Then, I see this cute dog. I’m a sucker for dogs, right? I go over to pet it, and the owner starts chatting me up. Turns out, she’s from Venice but moved here. We talk about the best gelato spots in Sedico. She swears by Gelateria Da Marco. I’m like, “I’m in!” But then, my phone buzzes again. It’s work. Ugh, can’t a scientist catch a break? They need me to analyze some data. I’m like, “Seriously? On a Saturday?” But I can’t ignore it. So, I tell Marco I gotta bounce. I head back home, and the streets are buzzing. Via Roma is alive with people. I’m dodging tourists and locals alike. It’s a whole scene! I finally get to my place, and I’m ready to dive into work. But first, I grab a quick snack. I’m sitting there, laptop open, and I can’t focus. My mind keeps drifting back to the day. The market, the old lady, the soccer ball incident. I can’t help but smile. Sedico is wild, man. It’s got this energy that just pulls you in. Finally, I get my work done. It’s late, and I’m exhausted. But I can’t sleep yet. I think about all the little moments. The laughter, the chaos, the unexpected. That’s life, right? Full of surprises. So, yeah, Sedico, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
