Man, what a day! I swear, Serino really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m strolling down Via Roma, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. But then, bam! I trip over some cobblestones. Classic Serino, right? These streets are like a maze. I mean, who designed this place? A blindfolded raccoon? Anyway, I spill my coffee all over my new shirt. Great start, huh? So, I’m fuming, but whatever. I head to the office on Via San Giovanni. I’m a Business Analyst, so I’m supposed to be all serious and stuff. But honestly, I just wanna scream. I get in, and my boss is like, “We need to talk about the quarterly report.” Ugh, can’t a guy catch a break? Then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta check out the new gelato place on Via dei Cacciatori.” I’m like, “I’m in a meeting, man!” But he’s persistent. So, I’m sitting there, pretending to take notes, but really, I’m daydreaming about gelato. Finally, the meeting wraps up. I bolt outta there like a kid on Christmas morning. I race to the gelato spot, and OMG, it’s packed! Like, who knew Serino had so many gelato lovers? I’m standing in line, and this lady in front of me is taking FOREVER. I’m about to lose it. But then, I get my scoop of pistachio, and it’s like heaven in a cone. I’m standing there, savoring it, and suddenly, I’m happy again. Serino, you sneaky little city, you know how to win me over. After that, I decide to take a stroll through the Parco della Rimembranza. It’s beautiful there, with all the trees and flowers. I sit on a bench, just chillin’, and I see this cute dog running around. I’m like, “Aww, I need a dog.” But then I remember I can barely take care of myself. But wait, the day’s not over yet! I head back to the office, and guess what? My computer crashes. Like, seriously? I just can’t catch a break. I’m staring at the screen, and it’s like it’s mocking me. “Ha! You thought you could finish that report?” I’m about to throw my laptop out the window when my coworker, Lucia, walks by. She’s like, “Chill, it’s just a computer.” I’m like, “Yeah, but it’s MY computer!” She laughs and offers me a piece of her homemade lasagna. I mean, who does that? But I’m not complaining. Finally, I wrap up my day. I’m walking home, and I pass by the old church on Piazza della Libertà. It’s stunning, especially at sunset. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath, and think, “Okay, Serino, you win this round.” So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Serino, you crazy little town, you keep me on my toes. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
