Man, what a day! Seriously, Sessa-Aurunca, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. Woke up this mornin’ feelin’ like a rockstar, but boy, did that change fast. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talkin’ about that rich, dark brew that makes you feel alive. But guess what? The barista, bless her heart, spills half my cappuccino all over the counter. I’m like, “Really? Is this how we start the day?” I mean, c’mon! Then I’m walkin’ down Via San Giovanni, and I see this street performer. Dude’s playin’ the accordion like he’s in a movie. I’m vibin’, right? But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon decides my shoulder is the perfect landing spot. Ugh! Thanks, bird. Just what I needed. So, I’m tryin’ to shake off the pigeon drama, and I head to the ancient ruins. You know, the ones that make you feel like you’re in a time machine? The Temple of Venus is just chillin’ there, and I’m like, “Wow, this is epic.” But then, I trip over a rock. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out, lookin’ like a fool. After that, I’m feelin’ a bit bruised but still determined. I stroll down to the Piazza della Repubblica. It’s packed with locals, and they’re all chattin’ away. I spot this gelato stand. Oh man, gelato in Sessa-Aurunca is like heaven in a cone. I grab a scoop of pistachio, and it’s like a flavor explosion. Happiness restored! But then, I hear this loud argument. Turns out, it’s two old ladies fightin’ over who makes the best lasagna. I’m just standin’ there, tryin’ not to laugh. Like, c’mon, ladies, can’t we all just agree that lasagna is life? Next, I decide to check out the local market on Via Cavour. Fresh produce everywhere! I’m talkin’ tomatoes so red they look like they’re blushing. I grab some, but then I see this guy tryin’ to haggle over a bunch of basil. Like, dude, it’s basil, not gold! By now, I’m feelin’ a mix of emotions. Happy, annoyed, and a bit confused. I mean, Sessa-Aurunca is wild! I love it, but it’s a rollercoaster. Later, I head to the old castle, Castello di Sessa. It’s got this view that makes you wanna cry. I’m up there, takin’ it all in, and I can’t help but think about how lucky I am to be here. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my editor, and she’s like, “Where’s the music for the project?” I’m like, “Uh, I’m in the middle of a castle!” So, I rush back to my place, and I’m tryin’ to edit this track. But my brain’s still in Sessa-Aurunca mode. I can’t focus! I keep thinkin’ about that gelato and the lasagna fight. Finally, I wrap up the day, and I’m sittin’ on my balcony, lookin’ out at the sunset. The sky’s all orange and pink, and I’m just grateful. Sessa-Aurunca, you’re a hot mess, but you’re my hot mess. What a day, right? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
