Man, what a day! I swear, being a Cargo Transportation Manager in Signa is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on Via Roma. Traffic was a nightmare. I mean, come on! It’s a Tuesday, not a freakin’ Friday! I’m stuck behind this old lady in a Fiat. Bless her heart, but she was going 20 in a 50 zone. I’m yelling, “C’mon, lady! I got cargo to move!” But she’s just vibing to her old-school tunes. I can’t even. Finally, I get to the depot on Via della Repubblica. My team’s already there, looking like they’ve seen a ghost. Turns out, our main truck broke down. Like, seriously? The one truck we need? I’m fuming. I mean, who doesn’t do regular maintenance? It’s like forgetting to feed your dog. So, I’m pacing, trying to figure out what to do. Then, outta nowhere, my phone buzzes. It’s Marco, my buddy from the other side of town. He’s like, “Yo, I got a truck you can borrow.” I’m like, “Sweet! Where you at?” He tells me he’s at the bar on Via dei Cacciatori. I’m thinking, “Dude, it’s 10 AM!” But hey, desperate times, right? So, I zoom over there, dodging scooters and tourists. Signa’s got this charm, but man, the traffic can be a pain. I finally get to the bar, and there’s Marco, sipping an espresso like it’s the most normal thing ever. I’m like, “You’re a lifesaver, man!” He just laughs and says, “Only if you buy me lunch.” Deal! We grab the truck, and I’m feeling pumped. But then, I get a call from a client. They’re like, “Where’s my shipment?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m on it!” But inside, I’m panicking. I can’t let them down. So, I race back to the depot, and guess what? The loading dock is a mess. Boxes everywhere! I’m talking chaos. I’m yelling at my team, “Get it together, people!” But they’re all just as stressed as I am. I mean, we’re in Signa, not a war zone! But it felt like one. Finally, we get everything loaded, and I’m feeling like a champ. Then, I hit the road again. This time, I’m cruising down Via di Castello, and it’s beautiful. The sun’s shining, the buildings are all colorful, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe today’s not so bad.” But then, BAM! A pigeon flies right into my windshield. I swear, I almost crashed. I’m laughing and cursing at the same time. “What’s wrong with you, bird?!” I finally deliver the cargo, and the client is super happy. I’m like, “Yes! I did it!” But then, I get back to the truck, and my phone buzzes again. It’s my boss. He’s like, “We need to talk about your performance.” I’m like, “Seriously? After today?” I can’t even. So, I head back to the depot, and I’m just done. I sit down, and my team’s like, “You good?” I’m like, “Nope, but I survived.” We all laugh, and it’s like, in that moment, everything’s okay. Signa’s a wild place, man. Full of surprises. I love it, but some days, it’s just too much. But hey, that’s life, right? Just gotta roll with the punches. Or the pigeons. Whatever comes first!
