Man, what a day! Seriously, Siziano is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just me and my violins. But nah, life had other plans. So, I’m in my workshop on Via Roma, right? Just finished this killer violin. Like, it was singing to me. I’m talking about the kind of sound that makes you wanna cry. But then, boom! My neighbor, old Mr. Rossi, starts blasting his opera music. Like, dude, I get it, you love Pavarotti, but c’mon! I can’t hear my own thoughts! I stormed out, ready to give him a piece of my mind. But then I see this cute little café on the corner of Via Garibaldi. I mean, who can resist a cappuccino? Not me! So I grab one, and it’s like heaven in a cup. I’m sipping, feeling all zen, when I spot this street artist painting the old church. The one on Piazza della Libertà. It’s stunning! I’m like, “Wow, Siziano’s got talent!” But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and lands on my head. I freak out! I’m flailing my arms like a madman. People are laughing, and I’m just standing there, looking like a fool. Great, just great. After that, I decide to take a stroll. I hit up Via Cavour, where all the shops are. I’m checking out this music store, and guess what? They have this rare string I’ve been hunting for ages! I’m practically dancing in the store. The owner, a sweet old lady, gives me a discount. I’m like, “You’re my new best friend!” But then, I step outside, and it starts pouring. I mean, seriously? I’m soaked in seconds. I run for cover under this awning, and who do I see? My ex! Of all people! She’s with some dude, and they’re laughing. Great. Just what I needed. I’m standing there, drenched, looking like a drowned rat. I try to play it cool, but my heart’s racing. I mean, Siziano is small, and running into her was like a bad rom-com. I just wanted to disappear. But then, she waves! I’m like, “What?!” So, I wave back, all awkward. Finally, the rain stops, and I’m like, “Okay, time to head back.” I’m walking down Via Dante, and I see this little kid playing the violin. He’s got this passion, man! I stop to listen, and it hits me. This is why I do what I do. The joy of music. I get back to my workshop, and I’m pumped. I grab that violin I made earlier, and I start playing. It’s like all the craziness of the day melts away. Siziano, with its streets and people, it’s a wild ride. But it’s home. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Siziano, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart.
