Man, what a day! I swear, being a bailiff in Sorisole is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit the streets of Sorisole, and lemme tell ya, the vibe is wild. I’m cruising down Via Roma, dodging potholes like they’re landmines. Seriously, these roads are a disaster! I almost lost my coffee. And don’t get me started on the traffic. It’s like everyone decided to take their sweet time today. I’m honking, yelling, “Move it, people!” but nah, they’re all just vibing. Finally, I get to the mining site near Via San Giovanni. The place is buzzing. I mean, it’s a mining site, so duh, but today? Today was different. I walk in, and there’s this huge commotion. Turns out, some dude forgot to secure a load. Like, really? You had one job! I’m fuming. I’m like, “Bro, you’re gonna get us all killed!” Then, outta nowhere, this old guy, Signor Rossi, shows up. He’s a legend around here. Everyone knows him. He’s got stories that could fill a book. He starts cracking jokes about the mishap, and I can’t help but laugh. “At least we’re not digging our own graves, eh?” Classic Rossi. But then, just when I think it can’t get crazier, the ground shakes. I’m talking full-on earthquake vibes. Everyone freezes. I’m like, “Is this real life?” Turns out, it was just a truck rumbling by on Via della Libertà. Phew! But man, my heart was racing. After that, I had to deal with some paperwork. Ugh, the worst. I’m sitting there, trying to focus, but my mind’s racing. I keep thinking about the view from the top of Monte Canto. It’s stunning, man. You can see all of Sorisole from up there. The hills, the houses, the whole vibe. Makes you forget about the chaos for a sec. Then, I get a call. It’s my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Dude, you won’t believe this!” Apparently, there’s a rumor going around that they found gold in the mines. Gold! I’m like, “Shut up! For real?” My heart’s racing again. I’m picturing dollar signs, but then I remember the last time we got excited over a rumor. Spoiler: it was just a shiny rock. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I’m walking back home, and I pass by the little café on Via Garibaldi. I can’t resist. I grab a slice of pizza. Best decision ever. I’m sitting there, munching away, and I see the sunset over the hills. It’s beautiful. Makes all the craziness worth it, ya know? So yeah, that was my day in Sorisole. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in the life of a bailiff, I guess. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
