OMG, what a day! So, I’m a babysitter, right? And today was just... wow. I mean, Spirano is usually chill, but today? Nah, not at all. First off, I got to the fam’s place on Via Roma. Cute street, but like, the traffic was nuts! I swear, I almost got run over by a Vespa. Those things are like little rockets! Anyway, I finally made it inside, and the kids were already bouncing off the walls. I’m talking full-on sugar high. They had just come back from some gelato run. Ugh, I was so jealous. So, I’m trying to get them to calm down, right? But then, the youngest, little Marco, decides to play hide and seek. He hides in the closet on Via Garibaldi. I’m like, “Dude, you’re not even trying!” But then, I hear this loud crash. My heart drops. I run over, and he’s knocked over a whole shelf of shoes. I’m talking stilettos, sneakers, you name it. I’m like, “Marco! What the heck?!” He just giggles. Like, seriously? I’m trying to be the responsible adult here, and he’s just laughing. Kids, man. They’re a whole different breed. After that chaos, we head out to the park on Via Mazzini. It’s a nice spot, but today it was packed. I mean, families everywhere, kids screaming, dogs barking. I’m like, “Can we just have one peaceful moment?” But nope! We find a spot, and I’m trying to set up a little picnic. I pull out the sandwiches, and guess what? I forgot the juice! Ugh! I’m so mad at myself. I’m like, “Great, now I’m the worst babysitter ever.” But then, Marco pulls out this giant bottle of soda from his backpack. I’m like, “Where did you even get that?” He just shrugs. Kids are sneaky, I swear. So, we’re munching on sandwiches and soda, and suddenly, this dog runs up to us. It’s a huge golden retriever, and it’s got mud all over its paws. It jumps right on Marco! I’m dying laughing, but Marco? He’s screaming like he’s being attacked. I’m like, “Chill, dude! It’s just a dog!” After the dog drama, we decide to hit the swings. I’m pushing Marco, and he’s like, “Higher! Higher!” I’m thinking, “Dude, I’m not a human catapult!” But I push him anyway. And then, out of nowhere, he goes flying off the swing! I’m like, “Oh no, this is it!” But he lands in the grass, laughing like a maniac. I’m relieved but also like, “What is happening today?” Then, we head back home, and I’m exhausted. I’m thinking, “Finally, some peace.” But nope! The parents come home, and they’re like, “Let’s have a family game night!” I’m like, “I just survived a war zone!” But I can’t say no. We play this board game, and it’s so intense. I’m getting super competitive, and Marco is just being a little troll, trying to sabotage me. I’m like, “Dude, I’m the babysitter! Respect!” But he just laughs and keeps messing with my pieces. Finally, the night ends, and I’m ready to collapse. I walk home down Via Vittorio Emanuele, and I’m just thinking about how wild today was. Spirano can be so chill, but today? It was a rollercoaster. I’m exhausted, but honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Kids are crazy, but they make life so much more fun. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Spirano!
