Man, what a day! I swear, Terzigno really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this dude in front of me orders a “decaf soy latte” or whatever. Like, bro, we’re in Terzigno, not some hipster café in Milan! I’m rolling my eyes so hard, I almost see my brain. Finally, I get my coffee, and it’s like liquid gold. I’m feeling good, right? Then, I head over to Piazza Sant’Antonio. It’s usually buzzing with life. But today? Nah, it’s like a ghost town. I’m thinking, “Where’s everyone at?” Turns out, there’s a festival happening on Via Giuseppe Mazzini. I’m like, “Great, let’s go check it out!” So, I hustle over there, and wow, it’s packed! Food stalls everywhere, people dancing, music blasting. I’m vibing, feeling the energy. I grab a slice of pizza—best in town, no cap. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs into me, and my pizza goes flying! I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Did that just happen?” I’m mad, but then I see the kid’s face. He’s all wide-eyed and apologetic. I can’t stay mad. I just laugh it off. Kids, man. They’re like little tornadoes. After that, I decide to check out the local art scene. There’s this mural on Via San Giovanni that’s just stunning. It’s all about the history of Terzigno, the volcanic soil, the vineyards. I’m snapping pics, feeling inspired. But then, I overhear this group arguing about the best wine in the area. One guy’s like, “Nah, it’s gotta be Lacryma Christi!” And the other’s like, “No way, it’s all about the Aglianico!” I’m just standing there, thinking, “Can’t we all just get along over a glass of wine?” Then, I get a call from my boss. “We need to talk about the community event next week.” Ugh, don’t remind me! I’m already stressed about it. I’m like, “Can’t we just have a pizza party and call it a day?” But no, we gotta plan activities and stuff. So, I’m walking back through the streets, and I pass by the old church on Via Roma. It’s beautiful, but it’s also a reminder of how much history is packed into this little town. I’m feeling all sentimental, you know? But then, I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me. I’m laughing at myself, thinking, “Only in Terzigno, right?” As the day winds down, I hit up a local bar. I need a drink after all this madness. I order a spritz, and the bartender’s like, “You want it strong or weak?” I’m like, “Hit me with the strong!” I need it. I sit outside, watching the sunset over the hills. It’s gorgeous. I’m reflecting on the day, all the craziness, the laughter, the surprises. Terzigno, you wild little town, you’ve got my heart. So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s what makes it real, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully, no flying pizzas!
