Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a banderillero in Torri-di-Quartesolo is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I grab my gear. You know, the usual: banderillas, my lucky hat, and a whole lotta caffeine. I hit the streets, and let me tell ya, Via Roma was buzzing. People everywhere, like ants on a sugar rush. I’m dodging folks, trying not to spill my espresso. Then, boom! I bump into Marco. That dude’s always got some wild story. He’s like, “Yo, did you hear about the bull that escaped from the plaza?” I’m like, “What?!” Apparently, it was running down Via Garibaldi, causing chaos. I can’t even imagine. A bull in the streets? That’s a whole new level of madness. So, I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need.” I finally get to the plaza, and it’s packed. The vibe is electric, but I’m also kinda nervous. You know how it is. The crowd’s hyped, and I’m just trying to keep my cool. Then, the moment arrives. The bull charges in, and my heart’s racing. I’m all like, “Let’s do this!” But then, outta nowhere, the bull trips over its own feet. I swear, it was like watching a toddler learning to walk. The crowd goes wild, laughing and cheering. I’m standing there, half ready to jump in, half ready to roll on the ground laughing. After that, I’m feeling pumped. I’m strutting around like I own the place. But then, I see this guy on Via Mazzini. He’s got a huge sandwich, and I’m like, “Dude, share some of that!” He just looks at me and takes a massive bite. Rude! I’m starving! Anyway, I finally get a break and head to my favorite spot, the little café on Via Verdi. Best pastries in town, no joke. I grab a cornetto and a cappuccino. Life is good, right? But then, I spill my coffee all over my shirt. Classic me. I’m standing there, looking like a mess, and the barista just laughs. I mean, come on! Then, outta nowhere, I get a call. It’s my buddy Luca. He’s like, “You won’t believe this! The bull is back!” I’m like, “What?!” Apparently, it found its way back to the plaza. I rush over, and the crowd’s going nuts again. This time, I’m ready. I’m all focused, adrenaline pumping. The bull charges, and I’m in the zone. I’m dodging, weaving, and then—bam! I stick the banderilla right in. The crowd erupts! I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, just when I think it’s all over, the bull decides it’s not done. It turns and charges right at me! My heart drops. I’m like, “No way!” I dive to the side, and the bull just barely misses me. I land on the ground, and the crowd goes silent for a second. Then, they burst into applause. I’m lying there, catching my breath, and I can’t help but laugh. After that, I’m just done. I head back home, exhausted but happy. Torri-di-Quartesolo is wild, man. It’s got its quirks, its charm, and a whole lotta surprises. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional ride in this little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
