Man, what a day! I woke up in Trasacco, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m a sports psychologist, right? So, I’m used to dealing with athletes’ drama, but today? Pffft, it was like a soap opera on steroids. So, I’m chillin’ at my fave café on Via Roma, sippin’ my espresso, when I hear this loud commotion outside. I peek out, and there’s a bunch of kids playing soccer in the piazza. They’re all hyped, yelling, and kicking the ball like it’s the World Cup final. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just a game!” But honestly, it made me smile. Kids have that energy, ya know? Then, outta nowhere, this old man, probably in his 80s, starts yelling at them. I mean, c’mon, it’s Trasacco! It’s a small town, and everyone knows everyone. I thought he was gonna have a heart attack or something. Turns out, he just wanted to join in! He kicks the ball, and boom! He scores! The kids go wild, and I’m just there, laughing my ass off. After that, I had a session with this athlete from the local football club, Trasacco Calcio. He was all stressed about his performance. I’m like, “Dude, you’re in Trasacco! Just relax!” But he was all, “I can’t! The pressure!” I mean, pressure? In a town where the biggest drama is who’s got the best gelato? C’mon! We walked down to Via della Libertà, and I tried to get him to chill. I pointed out the beautiful mountains in the background. “Look at those peaks, man! They don’t care about your game!” But he was still in his head. I swear, sometimes I feel like I’m talking to a brick wall. Then, I had to run to the other side of town for another appointment. I took a shortcut through the narrow streets, and let me tell ya, Trasacco’s streets are like a maze! I almost got lost! I mean, how many times can you turn left on Via dei Fiori before you end up in a different dimension? Finally, I get to my next client, and she’s a runner. She’s all about that marathon life. But today? She’s freaking out about her training. I’m like, “Girl, you’re in Trasacco! Just run!” But she’s all, “What if I trip? What if I don’t finish?” I’m like, “What if you fly?!” I mean, c’mon! After that, I needed a break. So, I hit up this little gelato shop on Via della Repubblica. Best gelato ever! I got pistachio, and it was like heaven in a cone. I was just standing there, enjoying my treat, when I overheard this couple arguing. They were going at it, and I’m just there, eavesdropping like a total creep. The guy was all, “You never listen!” and the girl was like, “Well, you never talk!” I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re in Trasacco! Just chill and eat gelato!” But nope, they were too wrapped up in their drama. I almost wanted to jump in and be like, “Hey, how about some gelato therapy?” By the end of the day, I was exhausted. I walked back to my car, parked near the old church on Via San Giovanni. I just sat there for a minute, taking it all in. Trasacco is wild, man. It’s small, but it’s got heart. I drove home, thinking about all the craziness. I mean, who knew a day in Trasacco could be so intense? I laughed, I got frustrated, and I even felt a bit inspired. Life’s a trip, and in this little town, it’s a wild ride. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
