Man, what a day! I woke up in Trescine, and I swear, it felt like the universe was throwing curveballs at me left and right. First off, I’m a merchandiser, right? So, I gotta be on my A-game. But today? Nah, not even close. So, I hit the streets of Trescine, which, by the way, is a total gem. You got the bustling Via Roma, where all the shops are, and the vibe is just electric. But lemme tell ya, I was not ready for what was coming. I’m walking down Via Roma, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. Then, boom! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “Hey, we need that new line in by noon.” Ugh, seriously? It’s like 9 AM! I’m like, “Sure, no prob!” But inside, I’m screaming. I mean, who even schedules a drop like that? So, I chug my coffee and sprint over to Corso Vittorio Emanuele. I’m dodging tourists and pigeons like I’m in some kind of obstacle course. Trescine’s got these cute little cafes, but I can’t stop. No time for pastries, no time for anything! Finally, I get to the store. It’s packed. I mean, packed! I’m trying to set up the new line, but the mannequins are all messed up. Like, who dressed these things? They look like they just rolled outta bed. I’m fixing their outfits, and this lady walks by, gives me the dirtiest look. Like, lady, I’m not a mannequin stylist! Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Marco shows up. He’s like, “Dude, you look stressed.” I’m like, “You think?” He cracks a joke about my hair looking like a bird’s nest. I laugh, but inside, I’m still panicking. So, I’m finally getting the display right, and guess what? The power goes out! Just my luck, right? I’m standing there in the dark, and all I can think is, “Great, now I’m gonna be stuck in here forever.” But then, the lights flicker back on, and I see this cute girl across the store. She’s laughing at the whole situation. I’m like, “Okay, maybe today’s not a total loss.” After that, I head over to Piazza della Libertà. It’s beautiful, man. The sun’s shining, and I’m feeling a bit better. I grab a gelato—thank you, Trescine, for your amazing gelato! I’m sitting there, enjoying my pistachio, when I overhear this couple arguing. They’re going at it, and I’m just sitting there, thinking, “Wow, my day’s not so bad after all.” But then, I get a text from my boss again. “Where’s the new line?” I’m like, “Chill, I’m on it!” But inside, I’m like, “Why do I even work here?” I rush back to the store, and guess what? The mannequins are still a mess! I’m about to lose it. I mean, how hard is it to stand still? I’m fixing them again, and this time, I’m talking to them like they’re my best friends. “C’mon, guys, we gotta look good for the customers!” Finally, I get everything set up, and it’s looking sharp. I step back, and I’m like, “Yes! Finally!” But then, I hear this crash. I turn around, and one of the mannequins has fallen over. I can’t even. I’m laughing and crying at the same time. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I walk back through the streets of Trescine, and it’s all lit up. The vibe is chill, and I’m just soaking it all in. I think about how crazy today was, but also how much I love this city. It’s wild, it’s beautiful, and it’s full of surprises. So yeah, that was my day in Trescine. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
