Man, what a day! I woke up in Treviglio, and I swear, I thought it was gonna be chill. You know, just another day in this cute lil’ town. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. Best bar in town, no cap. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this dude in front of me orders, like, 5 different pastries. I’m like, bro, it’s 8 AM! Who needs that much sugar? Anyway, I finally get my coffee, and it’s perfect. Like, the foam is on point. I take a sip, and boom! Spilled it all over my shirt. Great start, right? So, I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, trying to wipe my shirt with a napkin. I’m looking like a hot mess. And then, outta nowhere, I bump into my old buddy Marco. We haven’t seen each other in ages! He’s like, “Dude, you look like you just survived a food fight!” I laugh, but inside, I’m like, ugh, thanks for the reminder. We decide to grab lunch at this spot near Piazza Manara. The food there is bomb! I order risotto, and Marco gets some pizza. We’re chatting, catching up, and then the waiter brings out my risotto. It’s HUGE! Like, I could swim in it. I’m trying to be polite, but I’m thinking, “Am I supposed to eat all this?” While I’m struggling with my plate, I hear this commotion outside. Turns out, there’s a parade or something happening on Via XX Settembre. I’m like, “What the heck?!” So, we ditch the food and run outside. It’s a whole vibe! People are dancing, music blasting, and there’s confetti everywhere. I’m feeling the energy, man! But then, I see this guy dressed as a giant pizza slice. I can’t even. I’m laughing so hard, I almost trip over my own feet. Like, who thought that was a good idea? But hey, it’s Treviglio, anything goes, right? After the parade, I’m feeling all hyped up. I decide to stroll around the old town. I hit up the Duomo di Treviglio. It’s stunning, like, seriously. I’m standing there, taking it all in, and then I see this couple taking wedding pics. I’m like, “Aww, love is in the air!” But then, I overhear them arguing about the best angle for the photo. I’m dying inside. Later, I wander down to the canal. It’s so peaceful there. I sit on a bench, just chilling, when I spot a bunch of ducks. They’re quacking like they own the place. I’m thinking, “Man, these ducks have it figured out.” Just then, a kid runs by and scares them off. I’m like, “Dude, chill! They were vibing!” As the sun starts to set, I’m feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, sad, confused. I mean, it’s just a day in Treviglio, but it’s been a rollercoaster. I head back to Via Roma, and I’m thinking about grabbing dinner. But then I remember my shirt. It’s still a mess! I can’t go out like this. So, I decide to call it a night. I’m walking home, and I can’t help but smile. Treviglio, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
