Man, what a day! I woke up in Triggiano, and let me tell ya, it was a rollercoaster. First off, I’m an economist, right? But today, I felt more like a circus clown. So, I’m strolling down Via Roma, coffee in hand, feeling all fancy. The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinking, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I hit up my fave café, Bar Centrale. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. But guess what? They ran outta milk! Like, how do you run outta milk? I was ready to throw a fit. I mean, c’mon, it’s not rocket science! So, I settled for an espresso. Strong enough to wake the dead. Then, I decided to take a walk. I wandered down Via Dante, admiring the old buildings. Triggiano’s got this charm, ya know? Cobblestone streets, colorful houses, and the smell of fresh bread wafting from the bakeries. I was vibin’. But then, bam! I bumped into my old buddy Marco. We used to argue about economics back in college. He’s still convinced that crypto is the future. I mean, seriously? I told him, “Dude, it’s a bubble waiting to pop!” He just laughed and said, “You’ll see!” Ugh, I can’t with him sometimes. Anyway, we decided to grab lunch at this little trattoria on Via Mazzini. The food was bomb! I had orecchiette with broccoli rabe. So good, I almost cried. But then, the waiter spilled wine all over my shirt. Like, really? I was fuming! I mean, I’m an economist, not a walking wine stain! After that disaster, I needed some fresh air. I headed to the park near Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. It’s a nice spot, lots of trees and families chillin’. I sat on a bench, trying to calm down. But then, this kid starts flying a kite, and it gets stuck in a tree. I’m just sitting there, watching this whole thing unfold. The kid’s crying, the parents are panicking, and I’m thinking, “This is a metaphor for my life.” Then, outta nowhere, this old man comes over. He’s like, “Don’t worry, I got this!” He climbs the tree like a pro and gets the kite down. Everyone cheers! I’m just sitting there, feeling all inspired. Maybe I should take up tree climbing? As the day went on, I decided to check out the local market on Via Garibaldi. Fresh produce, handmade stuff, you name it. I love supporting local businesses. But then, I saw this guy trying to haggle over a tomato. A freakin’ tomato! I mean, c’mon, it’s not like it’s gold! By the time I got home, I was exhausted. My head was spinning with all the craziness. Triggiano’s a small town, but man, it’s full of surprises. I laughed, I got mad, I felt inspired. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Triggiano. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
