Man, what a day! I swear, Trino really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I’m a dental tech, right? Just another day in the lab, chillin’ with my tools and molds. But today? Nah, it was anything but chill. First off, I’m rollin’ down Via Roma, and I’m already late. Like, seriously late. My boss is gonna flip. I’m thinkin’ about that espresso I promised myself. You know, the one from that cute little café on the corner of Piazza Cavour? Yeah, that one. But nooo, traffic was a nightmare. I’m stuck behind some old dude who’s driving like he’s in a parade. C’mon, man! It’s not a Sunday stroll! Finally, I get to the lab, and guess what? My coworker, Marco, is already there, and he’s got this huge grin. I’m like, “What’s up, dude?” He tells me he just finished a set of crowns for some fancy dentist in Chivasso. I’m like, “Great, Marco, but I’m about to lose my mind here!” Then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. I mean, seriously? In the middle of a busy day? I’m standing there, surrounded by all these dental molds, and I can’t do anything. I’m just staring at the ceiling like it owes me money. I’m thinkin’, “This is it. I’m gonna lose my job over a blackout.” But then, the lights flicker back on. Thank you, sweet baby Jesus! I dive back into work, and I’m feeling good. I’m mixing up some resin, and it’s like magic. I’m in the zone, you know? But then, I hear this loud crash outside. I rush to the window on Via Garibaldi, and there’s a delivery guy who just wiped out on his bike. I can’t help but laugh. I mean, dude, you gotta watch where you’re going! After that, I’m back to work, and I’m finally getting into a groove. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my mom. She’s like, “You remember your cousin’s wedding, right?” I’m like, “Uh, yeah?” She goes, “It’s in Trino, at the old church on Via Vittorio Emanuele.” I’m thinking, “Great, just what I need. A wedding in the middle of all this chaos.” So, I finish up my day, and I’m exhausted. I step outside, and the sun is setting over the hills. Trino looks beautiful, but I’m too tired to appreciate it. I decide to hit that café after all. I order my espresso, and the barista, she’s super nice. She asks how my day was, and I just laugh. “You wouldn’t believe it!” As I sip my coffee, I see the locals hanging out, chatting, and laughing. It’s a vibe, you know? I start to feel better. I mean, Trino may have thrown me some curveballs, but it’s still home. Then, I get this wild idea. I’m gonna take a walk down to the river. So, I stroll down to the Po, and it’s peaceful. I sit on a bench, and I just breathe. I think about how crazy life is. One minute you’re stressed about crowns, and the next, you’re chillin’ by the river. But then, I hear this loud noise. It’s a bunch of kids playing soccer. They’re running around, yelling, and having the time of their lives. I can’t help but smile. It’s moments like this that make all the craziness worth it. So, yeah, that was my day in Trino. Full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I mean, who needs a boring day, right? Bring on the chaos!
