Man, what a day! Seriously, Usmate-Velate, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I step outta my crib on Via Roma. You know, the street that’s always buzzing? Yeah, that one. I’m just trying to grab a coffee at that little café, Bar Centrale. I swear, the barista was moving slower than a snail on a lazy day. I’m standing there, tapping my foot, thinking, “C’mon, dude, I need my caffeine fix!” Finally, I get my cappuccino, but it’s like lukewarm. Ugh! So, I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, right? And I see this cute dog. Like, the cutest pup ever! I’m talking big floppy ears, wagging tail, the whole shebang. I’m all smiles, ready to pet it, and then—BAM!—the owner yanks it away. Rude! I mean, c’mon, share the love, man! Then, I hit up the park, Parco della Resistenza. It’s usually my happy place. But today? Nah. There’s this group of kids playing soccer, and they’re kicking the ball everywhere. I’m dodging left and right like I’m in some weird action movie. One kid even yells, “Hey, watch out!” Like, bro, I’m not the one kicking it! After that, I decide to chill by the fountain. You know, the one near the church? It’s all pretty and stuff, but today it’s like a scene from a horror movie. There’s this old guy feeding the pigeons, and they’re swarming him like he’s the last slice of pizza at a party. I’m just sitting there, sipping my coffee, thinking, “Dude, you’re gonna get pecked to death!” Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I look up, and it’s sunny one second, and the next, I’m drenched. I’m sprinting down Via Mazzini, trying to find shelter. I duck into this little shop, and guess what? They’re selling the ugliest umbrellas I’ve ever seen. I mean, who designs these things? I grab one anyway, because, ya know, I don’t wanna be a soggy mess. Finally, I make it to the bus stop on Via della Libertà. I’m waiting, and waiting, and waiting. The bus is late. Classic, right? I’m scrolling through my phone, trying to distract myself. Then, I see a post about a festival happening later. I’m like, “Heck yeah! I need some fun after this chaos!” When the bus finally arrives, it’s packed. I squeeze in, and it’s like a can of sardines. I’m squished between this lady who smells like garlic and a dude blasting music on his phone. I’m just trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Why me?” We finally get to the festival, and it’s lit! Food stalls everywhere, music blasting, people dancing. I grab a slice of pizza from a stand on Via della Repubblica. It’s the best pizza I’ve had in ages! I’m talking gooey cheese, crispy crust, the works. I’m in heaven! But then, I see my ex. Ugh, why? Why today? I’m trying to enjoy my pizza, and there she is, looking all cute with her new boyfriend. I’m like, “Great, just great.” I try to act cool, but inside, I’m a mess. As the night goes on, I meet some cool people. We’re laughing, dancing, and just vibing. I forget all the craziness from earlier. Usmate-Velate, you’ve got your quirks, but you know how to throw a party! By the end of the night, I’m exhausted but happy. I head home, thinking about all the wild stuff that happened. Usmate-Velate, you’re a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything. What a day!
