Man, what a day! I swear, Viadana is a wild ride. I’m a car instructor, right? So, I’m used to the chaos, but today? Pffft, it was next level. Started off at the crack of dawn. I’m talking 7 AM, and I’m already chugging my third espresso. I mean, who needs sleep when you’ve got the streets of Viadana to conquer? First stop, Via Roma. Classic street, right? But today, it was like a scene from a movie. Cars everywhere, honking like they were in a symphony gone wrong. So, I’m teaching this newbie, Marco. Poor kid. He’s got the grip of a wet noodle on the wheel. We’re cruising down Via Roma, and suddenly, this pigeon decides to play chicken with us. I’m like, “Dude, steer left!” But Marco? Nah, he swerves right. We almost hit a lamppost! I’m yelling, “It’s not a video game, man!” Then we hit Via Garibaldi. Oh boy, the traffic! It’s like everyone in Viadana decided to go out for a Sunday drive on a Tuesday. I’m sweating bullets. I’m trying to keep my cool, but inside, I’m like, “Why are there so many cars?!” And then, outta nowhere, this old lady on a bike zooms past us. I mean, she’s flying! I’m thinking, “Is she training for the Tour de France or what?” Marco’s eyes are as big as saucers. I can’t help but laugh. “See, that’s how you do it, buddy!” Next, we swing by the park on Viale della Libertà. Beautiful spot, right? But today, it’s packed. Kids running around, dogs barking, and I’m just trying to keep Marco from running over a family having a picnic. I’m like, “Dude, it’s not a demolition derby!” Finally, we pull over for a break. I’m trying to calm down, but then I see this gelato shop. I mean, come on! It’s like a siren call. I tell Marco, “Let’s grab some gelato. You need a reward for surviving this.” So, we hit up Gelateria La Dolce Vita. Best gelato in Viadana, hands down. I get a scoop of pistachio, and Marco goes for the classic chocolate. We sit outside, and I’m just enjoying the moment. The sun’s shining, and for a second, all the chaos fades away. But then, I hear this commotion. Turns out, some guy on Via Cavour is trying to parallel park. And I mean, he’s been at it for like 10 minutes. I’m watching, and it’s like a train wreck. I can’t look away! Finally, he gets out, throws his hands up, and walks away. Classic! After that, we head back to the car. I’m feeling good, but then Marco drops the bomb. “I think I left my wallet at the gelato place.” I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” So, we race back, and I’m praying it’s still there. Thank the gelato gods, it’s sitting right where he left it. I’m relieved, but also thinking, “This kid is gonna give me gray hairs.” Finally, we wrap up the day. I’m exhausted but happy. Viadana, man. It’s got its quirks, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I mean, where else can you have a pigeon showdown, a gelato break, and a parallel parking disaster all in one day? So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Viadana. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
