Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Villa-Cortese, right? It’s this cute lil’ town in Lombardy, Italy. You know, the kinda place where everyone knows everyone. I’m an Aleepty, which is basically a fancy way of saying I help people chill out and sleep better. But today? Today was a whole different vibe. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. Gotta have that caffeine fix, ya know? The barista, Marco, he’s a legend. He knows my order by heart. I walk in, and he’s like, “Cappuccino, extra foam, right?” I’m like, “Dude, you know me too well!” But then, I spill half of it on my shirt. Classic me. I’m standing there, looking like a hot mess, and Marco just laughs. “You’re a disaster, but a cute one!” Thanks, Marco. Appreciate it. So, I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, and I see this old lady, Nonna Rosa, struggling with her groceries. I rush over, all hero-like, and help her out. She’s super sweet, always giving me cookies. But today, she’s like, “You need to eat more, you’re too skinny!” I’m like, “Nonna, I’m good! But I’ll take those cookies!” She just shakes her head, smiling. Love that woman. Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, torrential downpour. I’m soaked in seconds. I duck into this little shop on Via Mazzini. It’s a vintage store, and I’m browsing through these old records. I find this gem from the ‘70s. I’m vibing, but then the owner, this grumpy dude, is like, “You gonna buy something or just stand there?” Chill, man! I’m just appreciating the art of music! After that, I decide to head to the park, Parco della Villa. It’s usually my go-to spot for some peace. But today? It’s packed! Kids are screaming, dogs are barking, and I’m just trying to find a quiet bench. Finally, I spot one, but it’s occupied by this couple making out like they’re in a rom-com. Ugh, get a room! I sit down anyway, and guess what? I overhear them talking about how they met at the local pizzeria, Da Michele. I’m like, “Wow, love really is in the air… or maybe just the smell of pizza.” I can’t help but chuckle. Then, I get a call from a client. They’re freaking out about their sleep issues. I’m trying to give them advice, but all I can think about is how I need to get some pizza myself. I’m like, “Listen, just breathe, and maybe try some chamomile tea.” But in my head, I’m like, “Dude, just eat pizza and chill!” Finally, I wrap up my day and head to Da Michele. I order a margherita, and it’s like heaven on a plate. I’m devouring it, and this guy next to me is like, “You’re gonna eat all that?” I’m like, “You bet! It’s a personal pizza, not a group project!” As I’m leaving, I bump into my buddy Luca. He’s all hyped about this concert happening at the local square. I’m like, “Dude, I’m so down!” So we head over, and it’s this crazy vibe. People are dancing, laughing, and I’m just soaking it all in. But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Like, seriously? The whole square goes dark. People start freaking out, but I’m just standing there, laughing. “This is the most dramatic concert ever!” Eventually, the lights come back on, and the band starts playing again. It’s a blast! I’m dancing like nobody’s watching, and for a moment, everything feels perfect. So, I finally head home, exhausted but happy. Villa-Cortese, you crazy lil’ town, you never fail to surprise me. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
