Man, what a day! Seriously, Villasanta, you’ve outdone yourself. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, and the first thing I see is my cat, Pesto, knockin’ over my favorite mug. Great start, right? I’m like, “Pesto, dude, we talked about this!” But he just looks at me like, “What? I’m just livin’ my best life.” Anyway, I grab my tools and head out. The sun’s shining, and I’m feelin’ good. I stroll down Via Roma, and man, the vibe is electric. People are out, kids are playin’, and I’m just vibin’. But then, BAM! I step in a puddle. Like, who even leaves puddles in the middle of the street? I’m soaked, and my day is already off to a rough start. I finally get to my workshop on Via Garibaldi. It’s a cozy little spot, filled with wood shavings and the smell of fresh paint. I’m an artisan, right? So, I’m all about that handmade life. I start workin’ on this custom table for some fancy restaurant in Monza. They want it rustic but modern. Like, what does that even mean? I’m just tryin’ to make it not fall apart, ya know? Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Marco swings by. He’s like, “Yo, you gotta check this out!” He drags me to the park, Parco di Villasanta. It’s beautiful, man. The trees are all green, and there’s this cute little pond. But then, I see it. A duck. Just chillin’. And I’m like, “Dude, that duck is livin’ the dream.” But then, the duck starts quackin’ like it’s auditioning for a musical. I’m laughin’ so hard, I almost drop my phone. Marco’s like, “You should make a table for that duck!” And I’m like, “Yeah, right! A duck table? What’s next, a chair for a squirrel?” After the park, we hit up this little café on Via Cavour. Best coffee in town, no cap. I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this cool chick named Sofia, gives me a wink. I’m like, “Whoa, did I just get flirted with?” My heart’s racin’! But then, I spill half my drink on my shirt. Classic me, right? So, I’m sittin’ there, half-soaked, and I start thinkin’ about life. Like, why do we stress so much? I mean, I’m just tryin’ to make a living, and here I am, spillin’ coffee and talkin’ to ducks. It’s ridiculous! Then, I get a call from the restaurant. They want the table ready by tomorrow. I’m like, “Are you serious?!” I’ve got wood everywhere, and I’m not even close to done. Panic mode activated! I rush back to my workshop, and I’m hammerin’ away like a madman. But then, I hit my thumb. Ouch! I’m cursing like a sailor. “Why, Villasanta, why?!” I’m yellin’ at the walls. But then, I remember the duck. And I start laughin’ again. Finally, I finish the table. It’s not perfect, but it’s got character. Just like me, right? I clean up, and as I’m leavin’, I bump into this old lady on Via Manzoni. She’s like, “Young man, you’ve got a good heart.” And I’m like, “Thanks, but I just smashed my thumb!” I head home, exhausted but happy. Villasanta, you crazy little town, you’ve given me a day full of surprises. I flop onto my couch, Pesto jumps on my lap, and I’m just like, “What a ride.” Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what’ll happen? But for now, I’m just gonna chill and dream about that duck.
