Man, today was a wild ride in Villasor. Like, seriously, I can’t even. Woke up late, as usual. Alarm? What alarm? I rolled outta bed, hair a mess, and thought, “Great, another day in paradise.” So, I’m hustlin’ down Via Roma, right? The sun’s blazin’, and I’m already sweating like a sinner in church. I grab a coffee from my fave spot, Café de la Plaza. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. But guess what? They ran outta almond milk. Ugh! I mean, who runs outta almond milk? It’s 2023, people! Anyway, I’m chugging my regular black coffee, trying to wake up. I hit the street, and boom! There’s a parade. Like, a full-on parade. I’m talkin’ floats, music, the whole shebang. Turns out it’s some local festival. I’m like, “Sweet, free entertainment!” But then, I see my ex, Maria, in the crowd. Of course, she’s with some dude who looks like he just walked off a fashion runway. Great. Just great. I’m trying to play it cool, but inside? Total meltdown. I mean, why does she always look so good? I’m over here in my old sneakers and a t-shirt that’s seen better days. So, I duck into a side street, Calle de la Libertad, to avoid the awkwardness. But then, I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out on the ground, and this old lady walks by. She just looks at me and says, “You okay, young man?” I’m like, “Yeah, just practicing my parkour skills.” She chuckles, and I’m like, “At least someone’s having a good day.” After that, I decide to hit up the market on Plaza de la Constitución. Fresh fruits, veggies, and all that good stuff. I’m browsing, and I spot these amazing strawberries. I’m like, “I need these in my life.” So, I grab a basket and start chatting with the vendor, Juan. He’s a cool dude, always cracking jokes. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, knocks over my basket, and the strawberries go flying everywhere! I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Did that just happen?” Juan’s laughing, and I’m just trying to pick up the pieces—literally. Finally, I get my strawberries, and I’m feeling a bit better. I stroll down to the river, the Rio de Villasor. It’s beautiful, man. The sun’s setting, and the water’s glistening. I sit on a bench, munching on my strawberries, and just breathe. But then, I hear this commotion. A bunch of people are gathered, and I’m like, “What now?” Turns out, there’s a street performer doing some insane juggling act. I’m talking fire, knives, the whole deal. I’m mesmerized. I mean, who knew Villasor had such talent? As the night rolls in, I’m feeling all sorts of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster. I head back home, and I can’t help but laugh at the day. Villasor, you crazy place. You keep me on my toes. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another day in Villasor, full of ups and downs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
