Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a violin maker in Vittuone is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I head down Via Roma. Love that street. It’s got this vibe, ya know? But then, BAM! I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me. I’m like, “Great start, genius.” My coffee’s sloshing everywhere. I swear, if I spill one more cup, I’m gonna lose it. So, I finally get to my workshop on Via Garibaldi. It’s cozy, filled with wood shavings and the smell of varnish. Heaven, right? But then, I find out my delivery of spruce wood is late. Like, seriously? I need that wood to finish this custom violin for some fancy concert. Ugh! I’m fuming. I mean, who doesn’t love a good spruce? While I’m pacing around, I hear this commotion outside. Turns out, there’s a street performer on Piazza della Libertà. This dude is shredding on a guitar like he’s Jimi Hendrix reincarnated. I stop, totally mesmerized. I mean, who knew Vittuone had such talent? I’m clapping, and suddenly, I’m in a good mood again. But then, I remember my violin. I rush back to the shop, and guess what? My cat, Mozart (yeah, I named him that), knocked over my tools. I’m like, “Dude, you had one job!” He just looks at me like, “What? I’m a cat.” I can’t even stay mad. Later, I decide to take a break. I stroll down to the local bakery on Via Cavour. Best pastries ever! I grab a cornetto, and it’s like a hug in pastry form. I’m munching away, feeling like a king. But then, I overhear some tourists talking about how they’re lost. I’m like, “You’re in Vittuone, not Rome!” But I help ‘em out anyway. Gotta spread the love, right? After that, I head back to the shop, and guess what? My wood finally arrives! I’m pumped! I start working on that violin, and it’s coming together beautifully. I’m in the zone, just me and the wood. But then, my neighbor starts blasting music. Like, come on! I’m trying to create art here! I step outside, ready to give him a piece of my mind. But then, I see him dancing like nobody’s watching. I can’t help but laugh. I mean, who doesn’t love a good dance party in the middle of the day? So, I join him for a sec. We’re just two dudes vibing on Via Garibaldi. As the sun sets, I finally finish the violin. It’s stunning! I’m so proud. I can’t wait to see the look on the client’s face. But then, I realize I forgot to eat dinner. Classic me again. I grab a slice of pizza from a place on Via Mazzini. Best decision ever. So, I’m sitting there, pizza in hand, reflecting on the day. It was wild, emotional, and totally unexpected. Vittuone, you crazy little town, you never cease to amaze me. I love it here, even with all the chaos. And that’s a wrap on my day. Just another day in the life of a violin maker in Vittuone. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
