Man, what a day! Seriously, Vobarno is wild. I woke up, and the sun was blasting through my window like it was auditioning for a role in a movie. I’m like, “Chill, sun! I’m not ready!” But hey, I’m a musician, so I gotta roll with it, right? First stop, I hit up the local café on Via Roma. Best cappuccino ever! I swear, it’s like they sprinkle magic in there. I’m sipping my coffee, and this old dude starts chatting me up about the history of Vobarno. Apparently, it’s been around since the Roman times. Crazy, right? I’m just trying to enjoy my drink, and he’s dropping knowledge bombs like it’s a history class. I’m nodding, but inside I’m like, “Dude, I just wanna vibe.” After that, I decided to stroll down to the lake. Lago di Garda is just a stone’s throw away, and man, the view is insane! The water was sparkling like diamonds. I’m feeling all poetic, you know? I pull out my guitar, and I start strumming some chords. Suddenly, this group of tourists walks by, and they’re all snapping pics. I’m like, “Hey, I’m not a statue, but sure, take a pic!” They laugh, and I’m feeling like a rockstar for a hot minute. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by and knocks my guitar over. I’m like, “What the heck, kid?!” I almost lost it. My baby! But he just giggles and runs off. I’m standing there, heart racing, thinking, “Is this how my day ends? With a broken guitar?” Luckily, it was fine. Phew! So, I’m back on my feet, and I decide to hit up the market on Via Garibaldi. It’s buzzing with life! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all these cool handmade crafts. I’m checking out some local jams (not the music kind, the fruit kind) when I spot this old lady selling the best-looking olives. I’m like, “Yo, I need those in my life!” She gives me a sample, and I’m in heaven. I buy a jar, and she winks at me. I’m like, “What’s that about?” Maybe she knows I’m a musician and wants to be my groupie? Haha! Then, I head over to the old church, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. It’s stunning! The architecture is mind-blowing. I’m just standing there, soaking it all in, when this random cat strolls by. I swear, it looked like it owned the place. I’m laughing, thinking, “This cat’s got more swag than I do!” But then, the mood shifts. I get a call from my bandmate. He’s like, “Dude, we gotta talk.” My heart sinks. We’ve been working on this new track, and I’m worried he’s gonna drop some bad news. Turns out, he wants to change the whole vibe of the song. I’m like, “What?! We’ve been grinding on this for weeks!” I’m fuming, but I try to keep it cool. “Let’s meet up later,” I say, trying to sound chill. Inside, I’m like, “Ugh, why can’t we just vibe?” After that, I needed a breather. I walked down to the riverside, and the sound of the water calmed me down. I sat on a bench, strumming my guitar again. Just me, the lake, and my thoughts. I started writing lyrics about my day. It was all over the place, but that’s how I roll. I’m scribbling down lines about the old dude, the kid, the cat, and the olives. It’s a mess, but it’s my mess. As the sun started to set, the sky turned this crazy orange. I’m feeling all the feels. Happy, angry, confused—like a rollercoaster. I’m thinking about how Vobarno is this little gem, full of surprises. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, it throws you a curveball. Finally, I met up with my bandmate at a bar on Via Mazzini. We talked it out, and honestly, it was good. We laughed, we argued, but in the end, we found a way to make the song even better. I’m like, “See? Vobarno brings people together!” So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but that’s life, right? Vobarno, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
