Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, Volla is a wild ride. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window, and I’m like, “Ugh, not today!” But I gotta get my act together. I’m a pro at helpin’ students find their way, but today? Today was a whole different ball game. First stop, Via Roma. It’s like the main street, ya know? Packed with shops and cafes. I’m cruisin’ down, and boom! I see this kid, totally lost. He’s lookin’ at his phone like it’s a magic 8-ball. I’m like, “Dude, you need a map, not a phone!” So, I help him out. Turns out, he’s tryin’ to find the Biblioteca Comunale. I mean, who gets lost goin’ to a library? But hey, we all have our moments, right? After that, I’m feelin’ good. I grab a coffee at this little spot on Via Garibaldi. Best espresso ever! I’m sippin’ it, and suddenly, this pigeon swoops down and tries to steal my croissant. Like, seriously? I’m not a buffet! I shoo it away, and it gives me this look like, “You think you own this place?” I’m like, “Yeah, I do, buddy!” Then, I head over to Piazza della Libertà. It’s this beautiful square, full of life. Street performers, families, tourists. I love it! But then, I see this group of students. They’re all huddled together, lookin’ stressed. I walk over, and they’re panicking about their exams. I’m like, “Chill, you got this!” But inside, I’m thinkin’, “Man, I remember my exam freak-outs.” So, I start givin’ them pep talks. “You’re gonna crush it! Just breathe!” But one kid, Marco, he’s like, “What if I fail?” I’m like, “Dude, failing is just a plot twist!” I mean, come on! Life’s full of surprises, right? After that, I’m feelin’ pumped. I stroll down Via Mazzini, and I spot this gelato place. I can’t resist! I order a scoop of pistachio, and it’s like heaven in a cone. But then, I see this old lady, struggling with her groceries. I’m like, “No way I’m lettin’ her struggle!” So, I help her out. She’s super sweet, tells me stories about Volla back in the day. I’m just standin’ there, listenin’, and it’s like I’m in a time machine. But then, outta nowhere, it starts rainin’. Like, seriously? I’m drenched in seconds! I run for cover under this awning on Via Vittorio Emanuele. I’m standin’ there, soaked, and I can’t help but laugh. “Only in Volla,” I think. Finally, the rain stops, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s wrap this day up.” I head to the train station, and guess what? I see a bunch of students again! They’re all huddled, lookin’ lost. I’m like, “Guys, I just helped you!” But they’re like, “We need to get to the other side of town!” So, I’m like, “Hop on, I’ll be your tour guide!” We end up takin’ the scenic route. I show ‘em the best spots, like the old castle ruins and the river. They’re laughin’, I’m laughin’, and it’s just a blast. By the time we get to their stop, they’re all smiles. I’m like, “See? Volla’s not so bad!” As I finally head home, I’m thinkin’ about the day. It was chaotic, emotional, and full of surprises. But that’s Volla for ya. It’s a city that keeps you on your toes. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
