Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Vomero, right? The sun was shining, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Scarlatti for my morning coffee. You know, the usual spot. The barista, Marco, he’s a legend. He knows my order by heart. I’m like, “Caffè macchiato, please!” And he’s like, “You mean your daily dose of happiness?” LOL, true that! But then, I spill it all over my lab coat. Great start, right? So, I’m walking down Via Luca Giordano, and I’m thinking about my research. You know, the usual biochem stuff. Proteins, enzymes, all that jazz. But then, BAM! I bump into this dude. He’s like, “Watch where you’re going!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m a biochemist, not a GPS!” Ugh, people can be so rude. Anyway, I finally make it to the lab. It’s on Via Cilea, a cozy little spot. But guess what? My experiment from yesterday? Total disaster. I mixed up the reagents. Like, how do you even do that? I was so mad. I could’ve thrown my pipette out the window. But then I remembered, it’s a nice pipette. Can’t waste good equipment, right? Lunchtime rolls around, and I’m starving. I head to this little pizzeria on Via Aniello Falcone. Best pizza ever! I order a margherita, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I see this kid at the next table. He’s got pizza all over his face. I’m like, “Dude, you’re not a pizza monster!” But honestly, it made me laugh. Kids are hilarious. After lunch, I’m back at the lab, trying to salvage my day. I’m running tests, and suddenly, the fire alarm goes off. Like, seriously? In the middle of my experiment? I grab my stuff and run out. Everyone’s panicking, but I’m just thinking, “Please don’t let it be my fault.” Turns out, it was just a drill. Phew! But my heart was racing. Later, I decide to take a break. I stroll through Parco Virgiliano. It’s beautiful there, man. The view of the bay is insane. I sit on a bench, just breathing. Then, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m thinking, “Get a room, guys!” But then, they start laughing. It’s like a rom-com in real life. As the sun sets, I head back home. I’m exhausted but happy. Vomero is wild, man. The streets, the people, the food. It’s chaotic but in a good way. I love it here. Even with the crazy days. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs. But hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
