Yo, lemme tell ya about my day in Zane. Man, it was a rollercoaster, like, for real. I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it totally ghosted me. So, I’m rushin’ outta my apartment on Via Roma, tryna make it to the studio on Corso Italia. First off, the coffee shop on the corner? Closed! Like, what even? I need my caffeine fix, people! So, I’m sprinting down the street, dodging tourists and pigeons. Seriously, those birds are like ninjas. One almost took me out. Finally, I hit up this little café on Via Garibaldi. Grabbed a cappuccino that was, like, 90% foam. Ugh. But whatever, I chugged it and dashed to the studio. I’m an animation artist, right? Gotta get my creative juices flowin’. When I got there, my buddy Marco was already in a tizzy. He’s like, “Dude, the client wants changes. Again!” I’m like, “What? We just sent them the draft!” But nah, they want more “emotion” in the character’s eyes. Like, how do you even animate that? I mean, I can’t just slap a filter on it and call it a day. So, I’m sittin’ there, sketching away, and I’m thinkin’ about how Zane is such a vibe. The streets are alive, ya know? The graffiti on Via dei Mille? Pure art. I mean, I get inspired just walkin’ past it. But then, I remember the time I got lost in the alleys near Piazza della Libertà. I ended up in this weird little market. They had, like, the freshest produce but also the weirdest smells. Anyway, back to the studio. I’m in the zone, right? Then, boom! Power goes out. Just my luck! We’re all sittin’ in the dark, and I’m like, “Great, now I can’t even see my sketches.” Marco’s freaking out, and I’m just trying to keep it chill. After a bit, the lights flicker back on. Phew! But then, I get a text from my friend Lisa. She’s like, “Meet me at the fountain in Piazza del Duomo!” I’m like, “Sure, but I’m in the middle of a crisis here!” But ya know, friends come first. So, I bolt outta the studio, and the sun’s finally out. Zane looks gorgeous, man. The buildings are all colorful, and the vibe is just right. I hit up Via Cavour, and it’s packed with people. Street performers, food stalls, the whole shebang. I finally get to the fountain, and Lisa’s there, looking all cute. We grab gelato from this place on Via San Francesco. I go for pistachio, she gets stracciatella. Classic combo. We’re just chillin’, laughing about the day. But then, outta nowhere, this guy trips and spills his gelato all over me! I’m like, “Dude, seriously?” But he’s super apologetic, and I can’t stay mad. We end up chatting, and he’s actually a cool dude. Turns out he’s an aspiring musician. So, we’re all vibing, and I’m thinkin’ how Zane is full of surprises. One minute, I’m stressed about work, and the next, I’m making new friends by a fountain. Life’s wild, man. As the sun sets, the city lights up. I’m walking back home, feeling all kinds of grateful. Zane, you crazy city, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
